Thank you so much!  It is a new kind of scary step, but I am trusting God with it all and hopefully able to get some great insight from people like yourself.  It seems most of the people online have had RNY and not Lap Band, but in my research it seams that the post-surgical diets are very similar if not the same.  Do you agree?

Good morning to my  Cali board friends.  I hope all you so. cal folks have a great time at your get together, sounds like it's going to be a blast!  Janine, you are just too great, what a wonderful cheerleader for all of us.  Truly an inspiration.  I thank you for your great spirit and energy, it's infectious and a perfect way to start the day.

Where is the rest of the northern cali gang?  Hope all of you have a perfect sunny warm day too.

As I write this I realize most of the southern Californers are at Tom's Farms.  I love that place but I am not there..I had previous plans, but next year I'd like to be there!  I have spent many a dollar in the gourmet food stores and craft fairs at Tom's...what I really want is some of their furniture!! 
Enjoy your day California..stay outta the wind and fire path...sad..so very sad. 
As I write this note, there is a fire buring in or near Corona...did it affect the Tom's get together??

Good Afternoon Janine and Cali~
    Janine you are so great at keeping track of all of us. Thank you for always being so supportive and encouraging. 
     I think I am staying on track but my nieces and nephews are still trying to get this no sugar thing down.  I felt sad that my niece was so proud that she had made cookies all on her own and she really wanted me to have one but I had to tell her no.  My nephew also kept wanting to share his candy with me.  The good thing about this is that I really did not feel like I was missing much by passing on sweets.
   The other big thing I did this week was I joined a gym!!!  And I went 3 times already.  Yeah for me. 
    Hope everyone is having fun at Tom's Farm today.
