It was a gorgeous day today. I went to Apple Hill with my dad, who is 71 years old and my 9 year old daughter, the teenager decided to sleep...LOL....We had such a nice time, I could WALK! We got our apple pie for thanksgiving. If you are close to Apple Hill, Placerville CA you should go up.

We go to Apple Hill every year! I love it up there. We fill up off the free juice first then we get the Caramel Apples and just kind of sit around and chit chat.

We went 2 weeks ago and it rained the whole time! We still had a great time. We buy 4 pies, 2 gallons of juice, and 2 boxes of Apples.

The kids were out there by the pond and were actually able to just reach out and touch the fish! They were swimming around right at the edge so close that had they not been so slimy they could have picked them up!

Yeah, Apple Hill. Been going there every year for years!

Weeping shall endure for a night but joy comes in the morning!!

Went on Nov 11th it was busy, but so nice since it was cloudy. My DH, daughter and I had a good time walking around at High Hill Ranch. Bought our apples there. Then drove to Abels Acres and bought a splenda apple pie. Yummy. They make the best pies there, whether they use sugar or splenda. Yep I agree with you, its a good place for family outing.

I love Apple Hill! I haven't been since my kids were small and we moved up here, but when we lived in Sac I used to take the kids several times a year!
