I had my surgery on October 13th and I'm scheduled to have my first fill next week. Right now I am constantly hungry! I am still eating small portions and chewing my food thoroughly. I will be full for about 1/2 hour, then I want to eat again. For example, for dinner tonight I had a little less than half a chicken breast and about half a cup of broccoli. I had a lemon bar for dessert. A little later, I am again ready to eat. I am taking vitamins and getting enough protein. Does anybody have any advice??

I don't know much about bands, so I am not sure if this will help.

But if you are drinking when you eat or soon after, that can be moving your food though to fast.

I hope this helps but if not, I am sorry.

You are in what we refer to as "bandster hell"...it is the time when you dont have restriction yet and are doing the rules purely by will power.
No worries though, you'll get restriction and hopefully reach your sweet spot soon, just try to stick with the rules: Protein first, then veggies, you may need more protein. One persons advice to me was eat tuna, anytime I felt hungry I was supposed to eat tuna. Let me tell you it wasn't long before I realized I wasn't really hungry, just used to eating all the time.
Now I try tea, warm tea helps me from eating between meals, and if I do eat, I make sure its protein, such as cheese, meat, sometimes sf, ff pudding with protein powder in it.

Hang in there, it will get easier
