ENDORPHINE WORKOUT THREAD !!!!

Okay I am also back...

When your original workout plan does not work out, do you have a plan B or even C ?  I think we all start each day with good intentions, but things change when life gets in the way.  When the temps are high, do you have an alternate plan instead of running?  How about the air quality?  You should be inside exercising. Do you have resistance bands, stability balls, dvd's - basically a PLAN B to fall back on?  Or does the couch look better??  YOU are the only one who change YOU.  No one else can do it.  Some people may motivate or inspire you - but YOU still have to do the follow through work.

So - what are you moving and grooving to today ???

Set your Goals high, and don't stop till you get there. ~Bo Jackson~

So.....I did something crazy and signed up for my first triathlon next month.    I've been sooooooooo off track since my plastic surgery and the scale is beginning to show it.  One thing I've learned about myself is that if I don't have a goal to strive for....I become lazy.  It was time to find a new goal to get my butt in gear.  So....Triathlon it is!  LOL  Anyways...I know I can do the run and bike, but the swim is another story...I really need to work on the swimming.

It's funny that you speak of plan B and C today.  My plan A was to get up early and swim.  Well...one step outside and it was freezing this morning.  There was NO WAY I was getting my booty in the water.  So.....I quickly decided on Plan B...go for a bike ride.  Then I realized it was still dark and I don't have lights on my bike.  So...I came up with plan C...I'd go for a run.  Did about 4 miles this morning, but by the time I got home my head was pounding..major migraine from my sinuses due to this dang smokey air.  I should've come up with plan D and just gone to the gym.  LOL

I did make it to the pool this afternoon though....and I swam my triathlon distance swim not once, but twice!  I was slow....but I did it...and for the first time, I felt good doing it!  Yay!!!!

Tomorrow I will be back in the pool for a bit, but I also need to get a ride in.  If I don't get a light for my bike I'll call up my friend (who also needs to get her booty moving) and we'll hit the gym together and I can ride a bike there.

Am I the booty kicking person  - or are there others ??  I am glad to here that the swim went good.  2 laps is good.  When is the Tri?  On a Saturday ???  Oh and where (I guess that is important).  Not signing up, but u may need a cheerleader .

Not two laps.....I swam my distance two times!  Don't you down play my success!  LOL

Yep....you're the booty kicking person.  Maybe tomorrow after work?  We can have mock muffins for dinner and then go workout!  :-)

The tri is on a sunday, in beautiful Hemet, CA.  I believe the date is Dec. 14th.  Unfortunately it's kinda far, but I know you'll be there in spirit!

Well excuse ME!  Any time in the pool is good.  Mocks can be baking WHILE we work out. Perry can take out of the oven.  Now I have to go look for the coupons.  Tri on a Sunday?  Yup, Cheering in Spirit.  That's me.

I am going to walk across the street and do some bike riding at the gym.  I have some free passes to use up.  Plan B will stability ball and scare the cats !  That is always fun .
