Good Tuesday Morning Cali

Well Happy Tuesday to all of you....one more day until WWW and 3 more days of work!!! YAY!!! Oh yeah and 2 days until Nikki gets her new fabuuuuuuuuuuuuuu bod!

Yesterday will go down as a memorable day for many reasons and some that I will not share here, but last night I was coming home from Scott's house and Jeff and I were caught up in a HUGE policy chase! I was scared....I did not know the Palm Springs Police had so many cars. Seriously!!! I felt like I was on the show Cops! I am not sure yet the outcome, but I did see snippets on the TV that someone was killed I think. Not sure, but I have to tell you that it was very surreal and scary!

Also about 4:30 in the morning yesterday we had a 4.1 tumbler....shake rattle and roll....nah just a couple of thuds and I am like what are those damn dogs up to now! LOL

So that is my big news flash story from the desert!

How are all of you? Too tired to do a shout out...but I am praying for the fire victims and all you poor people who are having to breathe the bad air and cleaning from all of the ashes. Really sucks!

Yikes caught in a police chase, not good!! We felt the eathquake down here it was more of a shake rattle and roll. The new babies just looked like, what the hell was that?
2 more work days then surgery. WOW I cannot believe it is almost here, nerves anyone?

Good Morning Calif....

Yesterday I had some lab work done and got my first B12 shot. I heard they hurt, but it didn't. I have to have the shot every other monday.  I asked my doctor to put me on the shot because I was forgetting to suck on the pills. My level was just tad bit low, so I was remembering enough to keep my levels from getting to low, but I didn't want to take a chase. I would put the pill in my pocket so I could suck it later, after my coffee and then I would find it in the washer later. Enough was Enough. I have already set the reminder on my phone so I wont forget.  I hope!!!!

Today is twisted Tuesday, and its already starting out to be a great day. The temp outside is just a touch cool, but not to cool. It feels great!

Oh Rhonda, you are not going to believe this, but we have a Yogert on Tap about a mile from my house. HEHEHE.. How did it go yesterday????

Janine, I am happy you and Jeff made it home safe and sound.

Quick run by for me - I alept later than I wanted and I have to be out of her by 6:30 to go babysit....and I still need to get my food together and get dressed (I need to take my own food tomy nephews hosue since they don't have to much WLS freindly foods there - ) so gotta mix up my greek yogurt, get some turkey yada yada....

Thats my day in a nut shell - jus****ching my little darling great niece.

Janine - how dang scary - I always watch those chases on TV and say how scary it would be to be on the road...closest I ever came was one went down Pacific Coast Highway - right by my apt in LB - and that was close enough for me.

Everyone have a great day  - and my prayers still go on for all those affected by fires.

Just a quick Good Morning from San Bernardino this morning too Janine.

Got through Monday without too much drama and hoping the same today at work. Very happy that the winds finally have died down here. When I got home from work there was still a mild breeze but this morning it is perfectly calm. Supposed to be a bit cooler here today and then more so tomorrow. Looks like a nice autumn weekend ahead... only three days away!

It is so sad and scary to see the news stories and video of the fire damage. My heart truely goes out to those who lost their homes and posessions. I remember being in Las Vegas the weekend the 2003 fires broke out here and was terrified what I would find when we got home. Of course our neighborhood was spared but I drove through nearby neighborhoods, less than a couple blocks east of us, where homes had burned down. Count your blessings every day guys.... you never know what tomorrow might bring.

Time to get a move on and prepare for my work day. Wishing you, and all the Cali Crew, a Terrific Tuesday Janine!!!

well good morning.  I am getting ready to scoot out the door.  GOt my gym bag packed.  Speedo ready to be thrown on or wiggled into wat ever way you look at it.  It will never be pretty.  At the gym it will be a quick work out I am doing pool time today.  Dang I hope that the pool is warm.  IT better be or I will hunt Kirsten and Monica down like a RABID DOG.  I do not do cold.

My daughter (as some of you may know the trouble I have had with her) is starting a new program in school this morning.  She doesn't do well with change.  Please keep positive thoughts for her today during this transition.

I am still suffering from a grouchy pouchy, but I am scheduled for an ultrasound Friday.  Hopefully we will know whats wrong then.  In the mean time, I am pretty much on clear liquids during the day and 2 to 3 protein shakes made with soy milk.

Janine how scary is that!  You will have to give us more details and you find them out.  Lu,  When did you say I can move in again?  You will have to get me an address on that place, now I will have to come see you more often.  If there is FF NSA Yogurt I will come!  lol.  Yesterday I had my 2ND interview and I believe it went well.   She kept saying she had 40 hours for me then 25, then no 40 and she was going to email me last night, with her decision but nothing as of yet.  But honestly the woman does not have the best follow up.  She is always late and never emails/calls as promised, she does call or email just hours/days later.  So I should get used to that.  After that interview, I went over to our local truck stop to check on their open position for cashier, I have never had a manager treat me so rudely  he did not even give me the time of day.  But then I looked around at *****ally worked there and honestly I don't think I would have fit in, I have all my teeth, I only have one tattoo, my hair is a normal color and I do wear pants that are not 6 sizes to small, and I try (except around Lu) to keep my boobs inside my top!  So maybe that was not the best place for me?  lol Duh.  Well it was an experience to be remembered for about 15 min.  Today I get to catch up on housework, tomorrow we adopt two beautiful babies and our family will then be completed.  Everyone have a blessed day and do something good for yourselves.

WOW, what a night....I am just happy you and Jeff made it home safely!!!

For me, today is going to be crazy here at work...I have so much to get done because I am going to be at a Wind Conference for the next three days in Palm Springs.  I am looking forward to it, since I have never been to a Wind Conference (I work for the electric company) and I'll be able to get in a little relaxation.

Then Friday my brother is coming into town.  I am so excited...I haven't seen him since June and I am 65 pounds lighter...
