Janine, what a night! Glad to hear that you and Jeff are both OK! I have been caught in a couple different police chases and it is scary for sure!!

Not much on tap for me today, Chris is off from work today so we are going to meet for lunch near my office...other than that, just working!

Good Morning All!  Happy Tuesday!  Last night I was NOT feeling well at all.  Nausiated, gassy, pain all due to Gretta getting her eviction papers!  So, I decided to take a pain pill and crawl into bed.  Much to my suprise, I opened the cupboard where we keep the pills and there is NOT a single pain pill to be found.  Gone.  Not there.  Empty.  Including my prescription I got right after my surgery.  I WAS PISSED!  Got ahold of Joe on his break and he didn't take them.  The best we could figure out was that his weirdo friend Brian from Alaska must have taken them. 

Now I gotta call the doctor's office and beg for a prescription.  I hardly ever take the things - there were 18 left of the 20 I got after my surgery.  But, shoot, If I need one, I would like to be able to take one.

What a day you had Janine, it sounds exciting.  Sorry, I should have been a cop or detective because I love love love police action.  Speaking of police I got pulled over yesterday for speeding.  I was so mad.  The cop shot me with his radar gun going 53 in a 35.  I said, "Was I really going that fast?" He laughed and said, "My gun doesn't lie."  So, I told him that I guess it wasn't my lucky day and handed him my drivers licenes and registration.  He walked to his bike and wrote me my ticket.  When he came back to my window he said, "Sign your ticket and I am going to tell you how I just saved you $300." So, I signed it.  He told me I reminded him of his sister and that today just became my lucky day.  He wrote me a ticket for an INVISABLE object hanging from my rearview mirror and told me to take it down.  There was nothing hanging but I said okay.  He gave me a $10 fix it ticket and sent me on my way. 
I was so EXCITED! 
That was my day!

 how scary that must have been to be got up with a bunch of cops..
i have cops in my neighbor hood all the time so i kinda know what your talking about...

i have to go to the grocery store today and i don't know what else.. i'm starting to feel a bit normal after this weekend...

my heart goes out to the fire victims ..

So what the heck, it is Bad boys, bad boys, or is it Shake, rattle and roll?  Dang girl.  Glad I live 300 ft from the San Andreas fault, I don't feel any quakes!!!!!  HA!  Glad you two are ok tho.  Police chases are just like they are on TV, and if this guy killed someone, they are going to chase him till he runs out of gas. 

My sister and nieces got a taste of what it was like for me and my other sister a few years back where we were told to evacute.  They all live in Chino Hills, and my phone never stopped ringing, asking me what they needed to pack.  I am just so thankful that nothing happened near us.  I was so worried that some nut case would try something again in the mountains and bring us all problems.  I was so thankful for fresh air to breath.

Well nothing else happening here.  Another day on my ass doing nothing.  Trying to recoup.  Tomorrow I get lunch with my BFF Lisa.  I haven't seen her in 5 weeks.  Holy cow talk about withdrawals.  We always have so much fun, and she is one of the bestest friends I have had in 10 years.  Well since my bestest ever friend from high school died 10 years ago. 

OK I am shutting up.

Good morning Janine and Cali!! Wow, sounds really scary with the police chase. Glad you and Jeff made it home safely. Didn't feel the earthquake here. Thoughts and prayers go out to the fire victims.

I made the drive to Big Bear yesterday and it was beautiful! You could see Fall colors everywhere. I wish I'd remembered to take my camera.  After dropping off the clothing, I went and had lunch at this little Mexican resaurant called La Paw's Inn. The food was realy good for being a hole in the wall place. I have to confess that I was bad. I ordered taquitos. They can with rice, beans, guacamole and sour cream. I ate 2 of the taquitos w/ guac & s.c. and about 1/3 of the beans. Didn't touch the rice. It was so good!  Then headed back home down the backside of Big Bear through Lucerne Valley in to Victorville and through Cedar Springs. It was a really nice day for a long drive. So, that was my advenurous day...lol

Not much going on here. I went shopping, my favorite past time lately.LOL Bought a really cute handbag that I had my eye on for a few weeks and a couple tops that should fit in a month or so.
I am bore to tears I think. I want to work on my "new bedroom" and my body just isn't working with me!! (**(^%* Soon I hope.

Janine, I am glad you and Jeff are safe. That must have scared the poo out of you!

Rhonda congratulations on the new additions!!

Maureen, I would have been soooo pissed!! And when you firdt said the pills were missing I thought of the weido friend.

I tell you what................that Jerk had better not show up on my doorstep anytime soon!  Whether or not he did take 'em (99.9% positive it was him) he is just not welcome in my house ever again.
