SAVE THE DATE! Monterey get together, Jan. 17th!

Hi everyone!

I know that it's almost 2 months away, but I just wanted to make sure you mark your calendar!  Everyone is invited; Monterey people, Modesto people (yes, I expect you guys to make the trek!) and everyone else!  I'm finally feeling settled, and by January everyone will have recovered from the holidays, so it just seemed like a good time.  I'm so excited!

Laura and I were talking about it, and since it's a holiday weekend, maybe we can have a series of events?!  Lunch plans on Saturday afternoon, some kind of evening plans (dinner, dancing, drinks?  Whatever people are up for!), and breakfast Sunday morning.  People can come for just one part, or for the whole weekend!

I'll get the details figured out as it gets closer, and let me know if you have any ideas... places you'd like to go, things you'd like to do; together we'll plan a fun weekend!

Could we go to the Aquarium?? I have never been and would love to go there. What do room rates run there? Doesn't have to be 5 star so cheap is good! I really would live to do this.
Doh, just saw your link for the Hilton...LOL waaaayyy out of my price range. But a nice place.
