my surgery was July 3rd of this year. my weight loss is sloooow ! i "flat lined" the whole month of October and lost 4 pounds in September . cant complain much though as i had knee replacement surgery in Oct too and that sure has laid up exercising plans ! when i went to my Dr. he gave me 2cc fill. that brought me up to 4.5 or 5. i never felt much restriction before but now wow!! i wonder if i could be too tight? only getting 1 or 2 oz of protein in at meals and applesauce or soft fruit. any more and i am throwing it up. the fill has been a week since now and it is still hard to ea****er is OK as is protein shakes. my Dr said wait for a week and see if it is due to swelling. i don't think it is now and am thinking of going back for an unfill. I did this to lose weight even for 1 or 2 a week, i hate to go back to not losing ! i have lost a pound this week and that is great. did anyone Else's fills feel like this and is this normal?
HI!
I don't have any experience with lap band and fills but noticed no one has replied yet. You may want to post this question on the LapBand board and there is more likely people who might have experienced this:

Please don't feel like I'm chasing you away as we love to support everytype of surgery here on the Cali board. I just thought you might have better luck with this particular question.
Good luck to you!

Sounds like you are too tight. Run...don't walk....in and get a slight unfill. Right now you can keep down water, but with the continual throwing up and difficulty with protein, that will cause more swelling and even your own saliva won't go down. I learned the hard way and ended up with a complete unfill...No fun at all!

I'm sort of tight too, but I like it. I was stalled for two months with very little loss. Then with this fill 2 weeks ago.. the scale is moving. I am having trouble eating very much meat, but thats ok because my doctor only wants me to eat 500 calories or so, and I managed to get in 1000 yesterday. I use my protein powder doubled up if needed.
My first fill was very tight until about 8 days out, then it felt like nearly nothing.
This is my first time on the california site, I usually post on the lapband site.
