Surgery Next Week
So any last minute advice? I have some protein on hand, not too mu*****ase my taste changes. I have ordered my vitamins (Bariatric Fusion, chewables), I have SF jello and popscicles, my heating pad handy, my kids are off to my folks house for the week...what am I forgeting? Thanks all, I am so excited and nervous. I get so excited hearing how people lost 20-25lbs the first month. I cannot imagine this. I cannot imagine being under 200lbs, but I know it will happen, I just can't picture it. My children have NEVER seen me that small, my husband has...I am sure he will be happy to have me back, just as I will be happy to have me back. It's crazy to me to think that I could be at my goal weight in a year or so. After all the battles, all the struggling, my tool to get me there will be here 5 days! How awesome is that? Please feel free to give advice, I look forward to what all of you have to say, also if you have had an experience at UCSF, please tell me how that was. Visiting hours, can myhusband stay with me? Any helpful tips would be wonderful!

First off congratulations!!!
Like has already been said, get some broth or boullion to drink, or get some low sodium soups so you can strain the bits out and drink the broth from those.
Other than that, just stay calm and focused!
I don't know anything about UCSF but I do live really close so if you would like someone from the boards to pop in and visit a bit the evening of your surgery PM me and I would be happy to come by!
