Hey everyone, just want to let everyone know I went to see Sue today. As you know she had her WLS yesterday. She is doing great!! Looks really good! She said she woke up and told the nurse that she needed to get up and take a shower cause she was going to have WLS "today", Funny thing is ...she had already had it!!! When I got there they were tying to put in a new IV line...yeah,NOT. She is like me in that way... no vein to be seen or felt! They were calling to ask the Dr. if they could leave it out because she is able to get in enough fluid.
She will be going home tomorrow and DH was on is way down to se her.
I just can't get over how good her color was and how alert she was today!

It is good to hear she came thru well. The more this procedure is done,the better outcomes we are seeing!.horrrraaaaaaaaayyyy!!
I had to have a new IV line put in also..I BEGGED them not to instill a new one...but they said it was hospital policy to always have an open IV running. I am an extremely hard stick and being a phlebotomist at one time myself, I told them so....but to no avail..they found a place!
Tell her "speedy recovery"!!
