I've been thinking and decided that I am going to try and do a "Daily Grateful" Thread.

“When you are grateful fear disappears and abundance appears.” Unknown

I am grateful that I have a loving and supportive family.  They support my decisions (even if they don't agree) and are there for me when I need them.
I am grateful that I have an amazing son that lights up my life on a daily basis and he is my sunshine.
I am grateful that my legs allow me to train for this marathon even when my head tells me I can't.

Okay, so what are you grateful for today?

I am grateful for Lola for posting this thread and reminding me to be happy and grateful EVERY day!

I am grateful to have a job that I love in this time when so many have none at all!

I am grateful for the opportunity to have WLS and prolong my life (and shrink my a$$! LOL)

I am grateful for this community of friends (who am I kidding? Family!) that keeps me motivated, moving, and in line!

Thanks Lola!

Shells,
You are WELCOME!  I think it is so important for us to all focus on what we are grateful for instead of focusing on the negatives.

Thanks for responding.

I am grateful for an understanding boss, who today, let me leave without delay during a big meeting when I felt like I had the flu. Guess he knew II would never have left if I wasnt truly sick and  had finished what needed to be done before I left.  Thanks Mike!!!

Thanks for posting this! Sometimes its so easy to focus on the negatives in life but so much better for us to focus on the good things!

I am grateful for:
~ waking up to another day
~ having a supportive, kind, generous, sweet, perfect (for me) husband
~ having the best mommy in the WHOLE world
~ my beautiful healthy smart wonderful children (they are still toddlers so they are still all of these things!)
~ income in a time where so many have none
~ living in America!
~ good insurance to cover the entire cost of my RNY!

~ The list could go on...

Linda,
I am glad your daughter is doing well. Were you able to get her ongoing help?  I also know things have been tough for you lately and it is great you can find the positive things that are going one!

You are very cool and I am grateful that you would put something out here like this because we often look at the negative instead of the positives in our lives.

Mostly I a grateful for the friends that I have who support me in times when I really need a friend.
