Medication Treximet For Migraines

Not sure if anyone takes medication for migraines. I know that many take or have taken Imitrex. Well, there is a new kind of Imitrex out there called Treximet. Treximet has NSAIDS in them. They other ingredient besides Imitrex is Naproxen (THAT IS AN NSAID). We shouldn't take that. So if you are prescribed it make sure you remind the Dr about your bypass.

Hey Liz, my PCP did a great thing for me. I have NKA to any meds, but she put NSAIDS and Aspirin in the allery section of my medical file. lol
