HAPPY THANKSGIVING!

Good morning Janine and Cali Friends....

I am setting here reading the board and looking at the ads for tomorrow and doing laundry.  My daughter and son-n-law are to be here are 9:00 to get the turkey going.  They are doing all the cooking..but I am making the SF deserts and a few of EggFace's bits.

Well, just a quick not...I got to get back looking at the ads to see where were gong shopping tomorrow morning....

 JANINE AND ALL THE REST OF YOU WONDERFUL PEOPLE.

I KNOW I HAVE NOT BEEN ON MUCH BUT AS YOU ALL KNOW IT'S NOT BEEN VERY EASY TO TYPE THESE DAYS. I AM HOPNG TO GET THIS ALL FIXED SOON.

NOW THE NEXT PROBLEM IS STAYING OFF THE GROUND. LAST WEEK I WALKED OUT SIDE TO C HECK ON MY FLOWERS AND DID THE SAME THING I DO EVERY DAY BUT DIDN'T REALIZE THAT THE TABLE TOP THST I HAVE LAID DOWN WAS WET, WELL I WALKED ACROSS IT RO SHOULD I SAY STARTED TO AND SLIPPED AND DOWN I WENT. MY BODY COMPLETLY TORKED EVERY WHICH WAY, *SIGH* AND NO I HAVE NOT BEEN TO A DR.  

PAIN MEDS, ICE, HEAT AND SO ON SO FAR.

WELL HITTING THE GROUND SO HARD AND SUCH A SHOCK, OMG I AM WAY TO BIG AND OLD FOR THAT KIND OF AN E TICKET RIDE.  LOL (CRY) 

I COULD NOT GET UP OFF THE GROUND OUT BACK BY MY SELF FOR LOVE NOR MONEY,  WELL HUBBY CAME OUT ANDGOT ME AND ON THE COUCH.

  THIS HAPPENED AT ABOUT 8 AM. SO PAIN MEDS AND ICE AND OWIE THE WHOLE DAY,.... THE COUCH WAS THE ONLY PLACE I WAS ALLOWED FOR THE ETIRE DAY... WELL HUBBY WOULD LIKE TO THINK SO...BUT HE HAD TO WORK.

SO THEN AS NIGHT TIME HIT WE ALL WET TO BED ONLY I STAYED ON THE COUCH AND HUBBY HAD TO WORK GRAVE YARD . AT  ABOUT 1:40 AM THE SAME NIGHT AS THE FALL, I GOT UP OFF THE COUCH TO GET SOME WATER AND EITHER MY BLOOD PRESSURE DROPPED, OR  I TRIPPED OVER SOMETHING,  OR MY MEDS MESSED UP OR SOMETHING (I DON'T KNOW AND GETTING PRETTY TIRED OF IT.)  BUT I STOOD UP AND IT WAS LIKE I HAD JUST GOT THREW SPINNING WITH MY HEAD ON A BAT AND THEN TOOK OFF, COULDN'T STOP MYSELF FROM GOING AND SO I FINALLY STOPPED SPEED WALKING...LOL I FELT SO  STUPID AND SLIDE ON THE FLOOR ENDED UP HITTING THE FLOOR IN THE KITCHEN SLAMMED THE SAME KNEE AGAINST THE FLOOR HIT THE SAME PART OF MY BACK AND HIP AND NECK AND HEAD AS I DID JUST HOURS BEFORE INTO THE REFRIDG.
 
SO NOW I HAVE A REALLY PRETTY SWOLLEN BLACK AND BLUE KNEE, BACK AND SO ON. IF I DON'T MAKE A LOT OF SENSE IT'S BECAUSE OF PAIN MEDS. LOL

WELL NOW THAT I HAVE TOLD YOU ALL EVERYTHING THAT BUT WHAT I STARTED OUT TO SAY,  I WILL NOW SAY WHAT I STARTED OUT TO...

HEY AT LEAST MY HANDS DON'T HURT AS BAD AS EVERY OTHER PART OF MY BODY.

THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THE WONDERFUL THOUGHTS. MAY YOU HAVE A BLESSED THANKSIVING. I TELL YOU I AM TO OLD TO BOUNCE.

I GO TO MY PULMUNARY DR. ON WED, AND MY RA DR, ON FRIDAY. I WOULD IMAGINE THAT THEY WILL TAKE A LOOK. WELL I HOPE THEY DO. BUT I TELL YOU IF I WAS TO HAVE EVERYTHING LOOKED AT AND XRAYED THAT I HIT WOW IT WOULD COST A FORTUNE. EVEN THE BONE IN MY WRIST ON MY LEFT HAND HURTS. AND IT LAYS ON THE LAPTOP. SO IT MAKES IT HARD TO TYPE.


MY FINGERS TO MY TOES TO THE BACK OF MY NECK, .... IT MAY HAVE MADE A FUNNIEST HOME VIDEO FOR SOME BUT WHEN EVER I SEE OLDER PEOPLE FALL LIKE THAT IT ALWAYS MAKES ME SICK TO MY STOMACH, HAVING OSTEOPENIA (SP) MYSELF,  IT KIND OF SCARED THE YOU KNOW WHAT OUT OF ME. I CAN'T AFFORD TO HIT MY HEAD AND LOOSE ANYMORE MARBLES THEN I ALREADY HAVE... LOL

Happy Thanksgiving!!!  

I am having a big crowd here today, as I have a very large family.  I am expecting about 35 people!  yikes!  

And I am Thankful for each and everyone of them!!!  It will be fun, crazy but fun!!!

No, no cooking for me, I am home alone with my dog. The rest of my family ventured other places so it's just me and the "Gizzy"....

Have a wonderful day with the grands janine.....I know I miss my grandson so much since his mother decided I was not part of her life anymore.....but, that's a whole other story....

Good morning Cali Crew and Janine.

Happy Thanksgiving to all and we will be keeping Lu and her family close to our hearts.

My mother-in-law and I prepared most dishes last evening and will begin cooking turkey soon.  We will be bringing the whole dinner to my father-in-law who is recovering from a very scary infection (he has been in the hospital since election day).  So my husband, mother-in-law and I will set up a card table and bring in the cooler and have dinner with him in his room. I am sure this will lift his spirits a great deal.

I wish all my friends on the board the most of the holiday and thank all of you for your friendship and support as I begin my WLS journey.  You are the best.

Good morning everyone...just wanted to wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving and remember to be careful on the road and when eating... don't let the stress of the family dinners get to you.. Just have fun..
