Drain and Binder Free!!!!!!!
Well I saw the amazing Dr Scott today and he took out my drains. I will admit I was scared to death, the one I had after WLS was only in 2 days and the removal hurt like hell. I was expected 8 days to be pure misery. I told them to have the smelling salts ready. I had more pain when he cut the stitches free than when he removed the tubes. I am also done with the itchy ill fitting binder, I am now in a "support" garmet 24/7 for the next 6 weeks atleast. Oh well alteast I got a real shower, how I missed showers. The swelling hurts and where the drains were hurts, but the incision feels fine. Now I can really sleep and heal. Thanks for all the support!!

That's awesome news Nikki!!! I can sooo relate to the shower thing after spending 13 weeks in a wheelchair. Glad you're feeling better, just don't over do it... =)

Sad to say, but after having the binder off and just in the support garmet, which has to be pulled down to go to the bathroom, it doesnt seem he did the full extended Panni. I still have skin overhang when I sit and a rash is already starting. I put an E Mail into him and will call on Monday, but it has lead to a very depressed day
