Good morning Janine and California!

Well I almost made morning...  We've been out of town, helping a friend.  We got back last night.
We picked up mountains of mail this morning and the Mystery Box is here!  I unpacked it right away and took the following:

Christmas towel and potholder set,
felt gift bag with stocking on it,
turquoise, blue and yellow bracelet,
pink and blue bracelet,
elf hat

I put in..........
5 other things! LOL  I'm not telling.

Thanks to everyone who put in their goodies.  I know I'll enjoy all of mine.  I can't wait to see my FIL in the elf hat with floppy ears! lol

I've got the box repacked and addressed and it will go out Monday.

Today is the Christmas Truck Parade.  Yep, that's right!  All the BIG trucks in town get decorated and parade down the main drag tooting their horns. lol it's always fun to visit with friends during this one.  At the end, the town Christmas tree is lit.  It's quite a festive affair for these parts.

Afterwards we're going out for dinner with friends, so it's a social day all around.

I've continued my runn/walk program and I'm up to 6 minutes running and 1 minute walking x4 then run 2 minutes.  It's not bad. :-)  I'm still thrilled and surprised I'm running.

Happy Saturday everyone!  So glad to hear that Lu's sister is doing better.  Will keep sending thoughts and prayers her way.  Diane, I think Jean is out of town for a few days.  Hope everyone had a safe holiday.  Hubby and I are off to Las Vegas Sunday for a couple of days.  Yup, playing hooky from work!

Howdy all.  I finally made it back on the boards.  Wednesday had a bit of a problem and ended up in the ER which ended up being admitted which lead into surgery.  Yup.  Drama.  I'm much better now and home resting in my jammies.  Read my other entry for details.  But it was a partial bowel obstruction due to adjesions frm my hysterectmy surgery 5 years ago.  Go figure.

I'm feeling much better.  Missed turkey and stuffing and all the works darn it. all.  Crud

OK, OK, so it's almost over but it is still Saturday. It has been a crazy few days and I am soooo looking forward to a good night sleep.

For Tday, we went to Sam's Grandma's, came home and took a nap, then headed to my Mom's. Had a bit of a Thanksgiving WOW I think I'll share later. Friday, Sammi and I headed to the hardware store for a couple of doorbusters we wanted. It wasn't bad at all because it was a little later in the morning and EVERYONE was at Wal-mart anyway. When DH got home from work, we went and got our tree and put up all the decorations. Today was all the usual errands. Now, Sammi is at Grandma and Grandpa's for the night. The company I work for just got bough and we are doing a full inventory. I volunteered to work tomorrow for a few hours. I really can use the OT and DH is working anyway.

As for DH, we go back Wed. to do the same procedure again "just to make sure" If it works again, the doc is going to "kill" that nerve in his back. I'm really hoping it works for him so he doesn't have to go under the knife.

So glad to hear about Lu's sister. We will continue to keep her in our thoughts and prayers.

Well, better git. I think I'll go to bed early and sleep in. Hehehehe.

Hi ya!

Just getting the chance to get a little caught up around here...been busy!

Our Thanksgiving was wonderful.  We spent it at my Sister and Brother in-law's house along with two of their boys and their wife/girlfriend.  It was so nice to have Mike sitting at the table next to me.  In fact, when my SIL came to the table, there weren't any chairs left and Mike said "oh, I will get up so you can sit here"...well, I said "uhhhh NO~ you are NOT moving.  I didn't have you here last year and you will be sitting next to me!" LOL  My BIL ended up getting another chair and we all sat comfortably and enjoyed each other's company. 

We are now just on the count down to our cruise.  11 days!  Yee haw.  I am so excited to see the ship all done up for Xmas.  I am just now debating on when I am going to put up our decorations in the house~ either before we leave or once we get back.  The kids have short days in school all this week because of conferences, so I am thinking that to give them something to do, we are going to bring out the stuff and go crazy!

Anyway, I have two little boys here that are making me a little nutso, so I am going to say goodbye for now!
