I am so sorry to hear you had to go through all that. Not a good way to spend ANY day!! I am glad things are better now and you and finally on the healing end of things and things werent as bad as they could have been. I have decided gallbladder surgery sucks, my mom coughed and now may have a incisional hernia. So I have to take a camera pic and send it to her doctor for him to see, OYE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Far away there in the sunshine are my highest aspirations.
I may not reach them, but I can look up and see their beauty,
believe in them, and try to follow where they lead.

Wow Mo Mo, I am so sorry you had to go through this...when ya do it up ya do it big don't ya?? Why did you have to sleep in a 40 degrree angle?

When I had to have my shoulder rebuilt a couple years ago this is
is the hell I lived with for 6 weeks. On my back, on ht ecouch or in the recliner. And the rat dog still insisted on sleeping with me.

Tube up nose needed 40 degree angle for drainage.  I also have a new houseguest.  My son's West Highland terrier.  I'm finding him a  new home.  Pilot is just not suited for apartment living.

Oh, I didn't know that...wake and I learn something new everyday.LOL Do you live in an apartment? I can even imagine you being an apartment dweller!??!
I would take it but we have 4 dogs and we are going dogie poor with all the Vet bills the last couple months but it goes with being a responsible pet owner.
Well, I hope you are resting. And healing and sipping and walking.

My son is the apartment dweller.  Im the house owner with large yard and kennel (and grumpy hubby who says....."why do you have to do everyone's dirty work") including his but he never remembers that stuff................

Pilot's a good dog - just needs someone who is home more.

What a bummer!  I am so sorry to hear about that.  Was your pain from gallstones or from the bowel obstruction???  I'm pre-op.  Stories like this scare me.

My bowel obstruction was caused by adhesions (scar tissue) from my hysterectomy I had done 5 years ago.  I would have eventually caused a problem, it just caused now to flare up.  But, alas, all is well.  I have a 9 hole golf course (thanks Diane C for that visual) affectionalty dubbed the Nichols 9 and am feeling better every day
