Los Angeles/Orange County DS+ Support Group - xpost

The December support group meeting is this coming week.  It is sponsored by Pacific Laparoscopy (Dr. Rabkin) but you do not need to be a PacLap patient to attend.  Many of us used other physicians/hospitals for our surgeries and all are welcomed warmly. 

The first hour is an informational time for potential pre-ops to learn about weightloss surgery.  The next hour is support group time.  The group is primarily DSers but not exclusively.

Happy Thanksgiving to All!   Next week will be our Ventura group support meeting on Wednesday Dec 3 and Anaheim on Thursday, Dec 4.  To honor those who have lost their homes due to fire last week, lets all bring "Toys for Tots" to help the less fortunate.  I will take these toys to designated realty's giving out the toys.  

To both meetings I will bring a platter of honey baked ham.....hopefully those of you that can, will bring some side dishes.  Lets celebrate the beginning of the Holiday Season together, be thankful for all that we have.     

I would bring a copy of the Discovery Channel program on Extreme Bodies, inside the super obese.....but I don't have a copy yet!  If I get my hands on one I will try and bring this exceptional program, that says Duodenal Switch so many times that one might think this could be the only bariatric surgery needed, especially for the Super Obese...I look forward to seeing you all next week!
