Good Morning Janine and Cali Friends,

Janine I hope your son has a speedy recovery and Lulu I hope your sister continues her recovery.  I'll keep both of you in my thoughts and prayers.

Well it's back to work for me.  Had a pretty quiet and relaxing holiday.  I slept most on Saturday and did accomplish some work on Sunday by cleaning the garage and starting on the Christmas lights.  I also weighed and for the first time in I don't know how long, I weigh less than my husband.  I thought I had past him up a couple of weeks ago, but he lost 5lbs to be a smart a??.

Janine sorry to hear about your son.  Keep us posted and if you need anything let me know.  Wow so much stuff has been happening lately with everyone. I will pray for your son that his surgery goes well today.  I know you will keep us all posted.  Today I start my new job, just waiting for a call so I can get directions to the first place.  I don't start till 11:45 so I still have a ton of time.  I will keep you posted on how it goes.  I better jump in the shower though and be ready to go when I get the call.  They had a mess up on the paperwork last Wednesday and they did not get me in the computer so they are rushing to get that done this morning so I can work this afternoon.  Everyone have a wonderful day.

I hope everything is OK with your son. Hopefully he will be feeling better soon! Hope you had a very good holiday weekend.

I am back at work this week, it was nice being off but secretly I think I feel better being back in my same routine. Its nice making money not spending it all with all that shopping I did over the weekend.

Janine-sorry to hear about your son.  Sending prayers out to you and your son. 

Lu- continued prayers goes out to your sister.

Oh, I and wanted to tell you guys that I when I was in Pasadena last Wednesday, I went to Joann's.  While I was there, I guy wearing a knit cap and a gray sweatshirt covering mouth and nose , came into the store with a gun (pointed)  to rob the place.  At one point , the robber, turned the gun on me telling me to get down on the floor.  I was scared to death.  I never prayed so hard.  I could hear the guy telling the clerk to "Hurry up" and to "Put the money in the bag".  Next thing you knew, he was gone.
The clerk was one the phone with the police and they came within 5 mins. Once they got there, they had shut down the store to do their investigation and to question witnesses.  The whole thing took more than 2 hours and threw my whole day off.  I just grateful to God that no one was hurt or killed and that none of the customers were robbed (I slipped off my diamond ****tail ring while I was on the floor, praying that he did not see it).
