Howdy all.  Here it is 5:30 in the afternoon and I'm finally on the boards.  Today brought.......... nothing.  Nada.  Zip.  Recovery.  Sleep.  Rest.

Janine - I sure hope your son will be ok and I will be saying extra prayers for him.  Joe had his appendix burst several years ago.  If this is the case, he will have a long road to recovery and will need all our added prayers.  I will keep him on my list until he's better.

LuLu - added extra prayers for your sister and that each day brings her added strength.

I've been able to sleep in bed until around 2 am and then end up out in the living room with another pain pill on board and snuggled in my chair with blankies and pillows to continue my sleep.  Last night at 3:30 am there was KNOCKING at the front door.  OMG!  I got up, turned on the porch light and peeked out the kitchen window (there's 2 room between the front door and the kitchen window).  Our friend Candy was out there.  I let her in and it turns out her hubby Tony was to be home yesterday at 2pm and he still wasn't home from bear hunting.  I went and woke Joe up and we were organizing a search party, ascertaining the last known position of the group, where they were hunting, their plans, etc.  The first searchers showed up at our house at 4:20 am and we had maps out on the table, I had sandwichs made, hot coffee in thermoses, snacks, protein, etc all ready in 4 packs.  At about 4:30 am Candy's cell phone rings and it's Tony at their house wondering where she is.  Turns out the guy with the dogs came out of the woods at midnight. and was supposed to call wives of the group and didn't.  There were 3 guys packing that bear out and 3 very worried women at home.   Now, we're talking about buying a sattelite phone to share when these guys go out in the woods.  Expensive, but............

Anyway.  Off to have some refried beans and cheese.  And vitamins.

Thanks for being here Cali friends.  Please hold good thoughts for me as my job is on the cut list for the school district I work for.  I love my job and know that our employees appreciate the work I do for them. I know if it is meant to be it will be but the unknown can drive one batty :-) and I am trying to loose weight prior to surgery.
