My next half marathon run will be February 1st 2009 in Huntington Beach.  www.runsurfcity.com There's also a 5k and a full marathon if you're interested in signing up.

For this event I've decided to do a little fundraising so that I can run for free. The charity is Free Wheelchair Mission, an organization that provides rugged wheelchairs for the disabled in third world countries.  The chairs are made from recycled mountainbike tires and plastic lawnchairs...pretty cool!!

Here's my fundraising page, no donation is too small!   http://r4m2009.kintera.org/runmoerun

Now if you are going to win any battle you have to do one thing. You have to make the mind run the body. Never let the body tell the mind what to do. The body will always give up. It is always tired in the morning, noon, and night. But the body is never tired if the mind is not tired."
