My Gram Is Gone

I remember the fun we had in my gram's kitchen baking and all the smells and the smile on her face.   It took a while before I could get to that place, but it did come. 

Grieve as long as you need to.  There isn't a wrong way to grieve.  Anyone who hasn't gone through it doesn't understand the depth of your feelings for your loss.  It's ok to still talk to her.   These are things I wish someone had told me.

Thanks for sharing with me... I will talk to her often, and hope the pain eases soon, but for now, just the standard grief, sadness, and feeling numb..   I too can't wait to remember all those good times and be happy to remember them and not sad...
