OMG! OMG! Hubby and I might be moving!!
Okay, so since January when my husband got his job with the City of Dana Point, he's been killing himself with two hour commutes each way each day. It really took a toll on our relationship, but we both accepted it for what it was... a huge pain in the a$$.
Well, today I was just out scouting for apartments, not really looking seriously at anything, and looked at this apartment in Laguna Hills, about 20 minutes from hubby's work. LOVED the apartment, but didn't really think we had the resources to do anything about it. Until the leasing agent told me about the special that they had just started yesterday. It's with the same management company we are with now, so here's the deal:
LOWER rent in South Orange County than we pay in Corona...
NO TRANSFER FEES... because it's with the same management company...
NO LEASE BREAK FEES... for the same reason...
NO APPLICATION FEES... same thing again...
All I had to do, was put $150 down to hold the apartment while our application goes through. That goes towards the security deposit if we get the apt. Then of course, we have to pay the security deposit, and because of the date we picked to take possession of the apt if it comes to pass, we have to pay next month's rent up front.
I've been dying to move back to Orange County since Jeremy got his job there... the complex is beautiful, there's a green belt and hiking trail that runs along the back of it (it backs up to the woods).
Anyway, any good luck wishes would be greatly appreciated!!! We should hear back tomorrow, Monday at the latest!!!
Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!

WOW! That is a beautiful, wonderful area! That is where our son and his wife just moved from. They would have stayed in the area, but purchasing houses is way cheaper in the area they moved between Corona and Lake Elsinore.
Keep us posted. I bet it would be a dream come true. There is so much cool stuff in that area!!
PS
I was approved for surgery today from the surgeon, Dr Suh! Now, on to the psych consult....
