Good Morning Cali and Happy TGIF

Good Moring Janine and crew!  I know your son is glad to be home and able to rest in his own environment!  Good to hear it.

Each day brings me a bit more energy but I am still taking it easy.  We will finish putting up the outside decorations.   We got a bunch more lights, a santa train, a pengquine and a snowman and 2 lighted deer (those were for Joe).  The lights are up we just have to put the other stuff out.

At 5 I leave to go pick up Mr. Jayden.  Yeah!  I am stoked because our Lighted Christmas Parade is this year and my work (PG&E) has a float every year.   We start the day off with a big BBQ and a raffle with all proceeds to benefit our Wings of Angels sponsor child.  We usually make $5000 or more.  We offer bucket truck rides, operating a back-ho, double buckets and all kinds of cool stuff.  This year Jayden and I will be driving our brand new all-electric Toyota Prius in the parade all decked out in lights.

Sunday, we are tromping out to get our tree.  We have a special spot to go get our Silver Tip trees and this years is already picked out.  We get a small 4' tree and put it on the window seat bench in the front bay window.  That way the *$)#()(%* dogs won't knock it over like they did 2 years ago.  I love my dogs, I love my dogs, I love my dogs, I love my dogs.  I really do but.....

I've been having trouble getting any food in but last night found something that sits well and is high in protein so will be concentrating on variations of that.  Refried beans, ground taco meat and shreded cheese with a tad bit of taco sacue on top.  Will try sloppy joe mix tonight.

I'm going to snuggle here in my blankies, enjoy my water for a bit before I shower.  I'm in no hurry to start my day today.

Good morning Janine and Cali!! Glad James is home and doing well. I know Ava has got to be happy that daddy is back home. Nothing much on the agenda. I am working from 10:45 - 2:45 today. Then I will decorate the Christmas tree. I will be doing my 7 month pix on saturday. Wow, it doesn't seem like it's been 7 months since surgery. Time does fly! And 85 pounds gone in 7 months is unbelieveable. I am blessed to have had this surgery, and even more blessed for meeting the people on this board. I hope everyone has a great day! =)

I have been doing extra praying for all those with special needs. Janine I am so glad your son is home. Still praying for Lu's sister. Soooo sad for Jenn after the loss of Gram.

Not much here I run into town earlier before I start to hurt too much. Grrr! This is getting really old!

Today is Mom's 74th birthday and I bought here and Ice Cream Cake...these things are not allowed in the house but just for today she can have it...but she better eat it fast!! LOL I also bought here a nice warm fuzzy vest that I hope fits. She is always cold.

And now I am just trying to get ready for surgery. I know it is out patient and it shouldn't be a big deal but this procedure hurts like hell for about a week and then you wake up and say..".Hey, I feel like a real person again." I so look forward to that day! This is the 4th time I have had to do this in as many years. So next week I will be missing in action for the most part of the week.

Hello Janine and everyone,

I still do not have internet at home.  I am trying to catch up when I can.  You are all in my thoughts.

Nikki,

This Christmas card exchange is so much fun.

I am having my second endocsopy done Monday.  I will let you all know what happens.  Thank you so much for all of your support.

Maureen, you are amazing.  I can't beleive how fast you recover from stuff.  Glad your feeling so much better.

Janine, I am so glad to hear your son is back at home.  I'm sure Ava missed him terribly.

Jean, you are always a busy woman with all of your shopping and estate sales.  Have a great weekend.

I have to make this short because I am at work (shhhh)

I hope everyone has a fantastic weekend.

Linda

Hey Janine and the Cali Crew!
I know this is way past good morning...but I wanted to pop in and say hello!
I was trying to catch up on all of the happenings in the past couple of weeks since I have been on vacation....

Janine: I am glad your son is doing better and is at home. I know how scary it is to have one of your kids hurting.

Lu: I talked with Diane while I was in Texas and she filled me in on your sisters condition. I am so glad she is doing better. I hope she continues to get better!

As for me...My hubby and I went to Texas for the Cowboys game on  Thanksgiving...a tradition for us. It was a great game...but the best part was that the Cowboys Orginazation has made my hubby an offer, and will soon be working for them doing a job he could only dream of! I am so freaking happy for him! How awesome is it to be doing a job that you absolutly LOVE!!!!

The only awful part of the trip was that our last night I lost my wedding ring....UGH!!!!! It is my own fault...my DH has been bugging me for months to get my ring sized because of the weight loss...but NO I just would not find the time...and then I lose it. I was just sick about it...cried for about 3 hours in the hotel room until I fell asleep...it was awful! I know it is just a material thing, but it is still deviasting! Oh well...hopefully Santa will surprise me with a new one.

Hope you all have a great weekend!!!!

Hope everyone is doing well and has a great weekend!!!

BIG Hugs,
Lisa
