My Terrible Awful Horrible Day
You know my day started out so wonderful my hubby had to work, Lindsey was in school so I met 2 of my friends for coffee and a bite to eat. Well, we were there chatting for over 3 hours. Then I went to get my hair cut and colored. I do not know why I trust the beauty school....... oh wait I do know why I support my daughter on her mission to use people as guinea pigs. Well, if anyone has ever been to a beauty school the student is not fast. Well, my daughter is not fast. So my appointment started at 1130 and ended at 220 pm. UGH the color came out just like I like it. The hair cut lets say its a little close. It looks like I have been wearing a headband on the top of my head and the hair is squished down. I could only wish there is not much hair there. There is hair around it too.
So, feeling pretty hot with my red hair and very short spikey do I go to the mall and get a pair of black jeans and a cute rust colored shirt. Now I noticed when I took my jeans off my keys fell out and on the floor. Now, I saw them thought that I picked them up. So I continue shopping and realize when I am done buying mineral makeup that I have not keys so I fly back to Pennys in a panic. NO keys in the dresing room I had been in. So, two sales people were helping me so I thought they turned around and just started helping someone else. WTF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So now I am panic sticken. My hubby is at work, my daughter well she is just being a littel ****** and my son and soon to be daughter in law are in Long Beach. So what do I do ask the little ****** to look for the keys. No can find. SO my friend sue who I had coffee with comes and picks me up. Some how my daughter (******) thinks to call the Saturn Dealer. Guess what they make me a key its 15 bucks. They do not charge me. So off to the mall to get my car. I felt like a parent abandoning a child. Now we are late going to a going away party cuz the ****** child still needs to shower and primp. We finally get under way at 6p. She begs to drive from Palmdale to Santa Clarita so I give in and let her........................... WRONG !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I should not have let her. We pull up to the party and I let her out to go in and I would park the car is acting really funny. Well, I have a flat on the kids car. She said it did not handle funny at all. So, I call hubby at work and ask about the spare he goes ........................OOPS. I am like I do not like the sound of oops. HE said remember when she had the last flat and I am like yeah well I forgot to go get a new spare. Now I have 2 flats and I am 30 miles from home. With not SPARE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So, we call triple A they want to change the tire. No there is not spare. So now we need to tow it home. So, the tow truck left and we went back to the party, 40 minutes later they are back with a flat bed tow truck. To take the car and us home. UGH. Now we are cruising in the damn tow truck window is down it is freezing. I am just dying and just before we get home he turns on the heat. Now thru all of this hubby is still at work since 4am. I want to go and pull the covers up over my head but I want to wait for him to get home as I know that he is exhausted.
So that is my ugly day from HELLLLLLLLLLLLLLL!!!!!!!!!

Wow Liz, I am sorry you had such a sh*tty day... Did you contact the manager of Penny's?? Didn't you have your house keys on there and other misc. keys?? They may have found them and taken them to security, or they are put in the managers desk/lost and found.. Give it a try if that is the case..
I am happy to hear you are finally home in one piece, and your troubled day is behind you.. I hope you were able to sit in a bath and just relax a bit..
