iFit cards for workouts?

I was wandering around in the Sears tool dept yesterday and saw a display with these cards on it.  There were fitness, weightloss for ellepitcal, treadmill or bike.  Has anyone used these??  My main question is - Do they work in all machines with readers?  Or is it only specific ones, like Nordic Trak?
