good morning janine and cali friends,
i've been moving all weekend.. the kitchen is all out of boxes.. man my bf has alot of stuff.. i'm gonna start unpacking my clothes next..we have tons of boxes left..and ton of boxes empied..

I'm back at work, though have been off for the past couple days. I had the weekend and today off, and don't go bac****il tomorrow at 4pm....nice!

I had my annual Christmas Open House Saturday night, and it went so well. A good time was had by all. I did have to rescue one of my co-workers...she's either 19 or 20, and my high school buddy brought along a friend who thinks he's God's gift to women...he wasn't back then, and sure as h*** isn't now! As soon as I could get away from my guests, I sat with her, and talked about her new boyfriend, etc....later on she thanked me for "saving her." she siad, "He's my dad's age....that is so gross!" Too funny!

Today I'm gonna have lunch/Christmas with my best friend. We don't get to see each other much. She commutes from Phoenix to Redwood City...can you imagine? Anyway, we're getting together today, and I cannot wait to see her....she is "true blue," and the best friend I've ever had in the world.

I posted a pic of she and I, and I also posted pics of my Christmas party in a seperate album on my profile.

Lu - you and your sister are in my prayers.....

You know, every morning after I get the kids off to school,  I sit down at the kitchen table and just browse the posts...  just connecting with people cause it's quite and the TV is off, my husband is at work...   

I check your post out and always have a smile on my face because I thought it was so cool you mentioned everybody by name and said a little something to them....   

This morning I saw my name!!!  I'm hoping it's me!    Where ordinarily I have a smile, I got a big cheese eating grin!

Hi Cali,

Janine- thanks for the shout out.  Hope your back is doing better.

Cali- Great news, all of the grey sweater is done (collar, button and buttonhole plackets) are done.  All I have to do know , is put in  twill tape at the shoulders, install grossgrain on the inside of the button and buttonhold plackets and reinforce the buttonholes (for stablization).  When I return home from my support group meeting, I will attempt to get started with an afghan.  I have a tight knitting schedule this week.  By payday, I have to ship 4 afghans off to the East Coast and pay for buttons for 3 cardigans.

H'lo everybody!!  Here I am again...hopefully my grumpy computer will allow me to get this entry typed before it bites the dust!.  A new conputer sits in my living room...in the box...til my future SIL can come and set it up...soon I hope..lol  My weekend was WONDERFUL.  I attended the Los Angeles Diocese Episcopal Convention in Riverside on Friday and Saturday and met a terrific person..the current Presiding Bishop of the United States, The Very Rev. Katherine Jefferts-Schori.  and, guess what!!??  I had a one on one chat with her..just a very few minutes and I have a picture taken with her!!..yippee.  She is a very deeply spiritual woman with enough progressive thoughts to bring us into the next decade with open eyes and hearts.

Good Morning Janine and California!

I'm all talked out after yesterday's report. lol

Today I ran 12 minutes, walked 2 minutes twice then ran 4 minutes.  Kepp on truckin'!
Then my girlfriend and I did Leslie Sansone Walk Away the Pounds for Abs 3 miles.

I'm done exercising for the day, I think.  A good thing as I have a lot of catch up stuff to do.

Good Morning Janine and Cali Crew!  Thanks for the shout-out.  The parade was fantastic.  Jayden and I had a lot of fun.  He sat up front in the electric car and waved his little hands off!  I was one worn out puppy that night though. 

We kept Jayden an extra day.  Seems he had a bad tummy yesterday and puked his way through Christmas Tree Hunting.  Poor kid.  Didn't stop him much tho - he went tromping off down the hill and spotted "the perfect" silvertip tree.  It is now lightly flocked and in our living room awaiting lights and ornaments.  That will happen after we take the kid off to get a hair cut (shaggy dog) and a boot dryer for dad.

I am taking one more week off work and then heading back next Monday.  Was to have 2 weeks off at Christmas but just changed that and will be working Monday Tuesday and Wednesday of each week.  Our friend Candi will be watching Jayden.

The kid and I are off and running.  Will check back later.  Tell my Secret Santa I'm being a very very very good girl today!

Good morning Cali!! The car show was awesome!! John Force does a Holiday Car show every year for Chips for Kids. To get in you need to bring a $10.00 new unwrapped toy. Matthew blew me off about going (he's been doing that a lot lately), so I still gave them the 2 toys I bought. All of the racers from John's team were there; John, his daughter Ashley, his SIL Robert Hight and Mike Neff. Tom "the Mongoose" McKewen (a retired racer), was also there giving autographs). Chip Foose from Overhaulin' was there, as was Vera Jimenez from Channel 2. I will post some pix on my profile in a little while. I hope everyone has a great day. No work for me today, so I am going to get the house in order and finish decorating the tree.

Lu, DD continues to be in my prayers for a full recovery. Love you hunni.
