I am so glad I went to San Ramon..

I almost didn't go to San Ramon due to my mom being in a car wreck on Thursday but she told me to go and so I went.. I am so glad I did..

This was the trip from hell for me including worrying about my mom.. Losing my credit card and not being able to leave Houston until 7 this moring and going straight to work.. In fact, I just got off about an hour ago so that is why I am just now posting.. I want to thank everyone that went to the event.. I was blessed to be able to share with you all, wait I am from Texas so I will say ya'll..

I hope that I was able to inspire one person.. And to Jan thank you so much for handing the pebbles out for me.. Jenn, it was nice spending time with you.. I can't wait until you become a loser on the 6th of January.. I can not remember the name of the lady that was sitting at the table with you.. But she has her surgery two months after you and I am so ready for you both to have surgery..

I read on a post that I made a couple of people cry during my video.. I am sorry about that.. LOL.. PLEASE make a video of your pictures.. It helps motivate..

I want to think Debra, who has made it possible for me to fly to the events, she is my best friend in the world and I love her..

I took my pebble to work today.

But, better yet, it reminded me that my dh gave me a stone when I had my surgery with the Chinese characters for courage on it. But I dropped it behind the dresser over a month ago and had forgotten about it. So after your talk, I made my dh fetch it out for me and I had that in my pocket too.

I am so sorry again about your mom, I sure hope she is doing better.. Was she hurt bad??

I am glad too that you came.. I definately was at least that "one" person you touched, and for that again I thank you.. 

I hope you were able to resolve your credit card issues, there is never anything worse than loosing something like that happening while you are out of town..

Marcy was the lady sitting next to me, and she is having her surgery in April, so that is nice, before she knows it, it will be here.

Never be sorry for moving someone the way you did with your video.. That is what you hope for, to touch people and let your story be heard. To inspire others, and that you truly did this weekend..

Ramon thank you again for coming to the San Ramon event. Like Jenn said it was me sitting next to her. lol Yes the tears rolled down my face. It was because I know how it feels to be over 500 lbs. In March 2008 I was at 517 lbs. As of today I'm down to 450 lbs. I'm very proud of myself that I have been able to lose that 67 lbs so far. It has been tough. You've done so well on your journey, I hope that I'm successful in my journey. Yes I will take lots of pics. Like you said "DON'T FORGET WHERE YOU CAME FROM" and believe me I won't forget! The pebble is with me and it makes me remember that I need to keep moving forward on this journey. Sorry to hear about your mom, hoping she has a speedy recovery. Happy Holidays!

I'm so glad you came.  I can assure you, they were tears of joy.  Watching you change over time to become a happier person, being able to do so many things.  That's the chord your video struck for me.  Thank you again for a copy of it.  I will cheri**** always.  My pebble goes in my pocket every morning reminding me that failure is not an option, carry forward by helping others and not forgetting where I came from. 

Thank you so much for shaing your inspiring storey.  It keeps me going along my path, heading for my goal.

I'll think good thoughts for your mom that she hasa speedy recovery.
