Good Tuesday Morning Cali
Good Morning Cali and welcome to Tuesday edition of what and the hell are we doing up? LOL
No not really....I actually slept until 20 minutes before the alarm went off...that is way cool for me!
Yesterday....I had two OH members call me and make my day...you know who you are....and I thank you for caring. You both are the best!
Also one of my dear friends her daughter was admitted to the hospital and had emergency surgery. She is a gastric bypass person...had the surgery a couple of years ago...had a stricture where the "Y" is and also a hernia...she is going to be okay, but is wiped out for sure. I went and saw her and also assured her mother that she is going to fine...just time to heal. My friend and her other family do not understand, but are supportive.
Anywho....there sure is a lot of postivie things going on on the boards. People really enjoyed San Rockin Ramon this past weekend, surgery dates, new century club members, tossing out old granny panties....you name it.
LuLu sister....well I sure hope she continues to improve....Lu....I cracked the hell up with the comment she made to her doctor. I am sure that they are use to this stuff, but nevertheless taken back when they hear. Doc's can be fuddy duddy's. Will keep praying that she gets the heck out of there soon and moves on with life.
Well I sure hope you all have a great Tuesday....and you lurkers....stop the lurking and start checking in....we all love hearing from those people who just kind of disappear!! We know you're out there!!!

Good morning to all...I have been up about 1/2 hour - who knows why....but just waiting for the coffee to be done so I can have a cup and read the paper...and enjoy my little xmas tree and other decorations I put up yesterday.
I didn't get 1/2 of the decorations out this year - Yes I have way to many since I have all of mine and also inherited all of my moms...oh well, they are stored in the top of the closet and maybe one day one of the grandkids will want moms stuff.
Anyway - got kind of a busy day today - hair appt at 10 then grocery store and working on getting my christmas cards mailed cause if I don't they will be new years cards...

I am up but definitely not bright eyed and bushy tailed. I had a rotten nights sleep and of course just got settled and comfy when the alarm went off. Yesterday I took an exercise video to work and did some of it. Wow am I out of shape. I did 10 min before classes started and when I went to do more at nutrition my legs were not liking me. I went to rite aid immediately after work and bought a shaper. I really want to build my strength back up and prove my doc wrong on how much weight I can lose now. I mean what does he know.

Waking up and just about off to get ready for work but wanted to give Cali a little morning "Hello!".
I have been fighting some kind of bug for over a week now. Aches and pains, alternating chills and fever, nasuea and the runs off and on. I thought it was over last Friday and the weekend was pretty good. Did a lot of work around here and at Mom's house. Yesterday I got up and felt like crap. Colder than a witches U-NO-what ALL day long, aches and pains and I think I was on the toilet at work more than I was at my desk! LOL Came home, fell asleep watching the 5 o'clock news with a heating pad and went to bed at 7. So far this morning so good. Let's hope it was just some brief relapse.
Well, enough of my complaining!
I am planning on a much better day today and hope you all are too!(((((BigBearHugz)))))
Today I have no plans what so ever, I have all my laundry done also! I have my kitchen cleaned also. I think today I am just going to do something creative. That is what I feel like. I have a dear friend who has told me to just do it and get creative and that is what I feel like doing today. I think I am going to do some scrapbooking and get some pictures up again on my newly painted walls. That is a good idea. Thanks Girlfriend. I am also going to make something fun and interesting for dinner. I don't know what,but something fun and interesting. Steve sorry you are feeling under the weather a bit, I hope you get well soon. Lu, give DD a big hug from her Foster Pals. Lexie can't wait to go and See DD! I think it would cheer her up to see my little curly cue anyways. Well I better get these kids fed. I haven't been on the boards in a lil while because my son Dorien has had the stomach flu since last Friday.
Then both my daughter and I began vomiting 
on Sunday. I'm still recovering, but it has been hell. Trying to stay hydrated is the hardest thing, especially when you just vomit it right back up.
I haven't been this scared to sip water or chicken broth since the first couple of weeks after having GBSI'm disappointed that I didnt get down to visit my SoCal Fam and participate in the City Angels Marathon.
Be careful this winter with your health everyone. Its pretty bad out there. I'm gonna go back and lay down

Took Jayden back to his mom yesterday. This was the first time he actually didn't want to go! He was having way too much fun at dads.
He did pull a full-on brat attack on me yesterday but being the experienced old broad that I am, I didn't miss a beat. We went to K-Mart for socks. Right inside the door he starts seeing really cool toys. He asks for a toy. I calmly explain to him that since his birthday is later this week and Christmas is coming up, I don't think a new toy at this time is needed. He didn't like that. Asked me 3 more times for a new toy and the answer was always the same - NO. I got my socks and I told him "C'mon, let's go". Then I hear this............"I'm not going until I get a toy." (wow - never heard that before). So I turn to him and say "I'm so sorry to hear that. I hope to see you around some time. I'm sure you'll be able to survive here in the store for a while. See ya around." And I turned and walked away. A quick glance over my shoulder revealed that there he was, right on my 6 following me. We got out to the car and he was all buckled in when MoMo decided to have a talk with Mr. Brat and explained to him again why he didn't get a toy and how behaving like that will definately not get a kid a toy.
Well, I'm going to snuggle up in a blankie for a while before showering.
It is one cold morning here and I have the heat on, that rarely happens. I am not use to being cold or up this early. LOL! I have a long day and I am not looking forward to it. Tonight I am attending my support group meeting we are having a holiday party and I am looking forward to that.
