FYI......Update on my grouch pouchy

I had my second endoscopy yesterday.  My doc said that the stricture was back.  He opened it back up and now I have to see him again on January 6th.  We are still hoping that this will be the problem and that I don't have to have surgery again.  He did tell me at the beginning that the stricture could take several times before it's taken care of.  I just wanted to share and say thank you for the support that I have received from all of you.  I really appreciate it.

We will keep you in our prayers.  Are you going to the Long Beach coffee?  Believe it or not I am going!  I want to see my Angel and I think Long Beach is about 1/2 way or close.  I would love to meet you if you are going.  I heard it is going to be the 20th?  Talk to you soon  and feel better.

Did they say why you are getting the stricture. What kind of stapling device did they use or did they do all hand sewing?  Just curious.  Yes it is true that sometimes it takes several times to fic the stricture.  Hope that you start to feel better soon.

Hi Liz,

My body just produces too much scar tissue.  The scar tissue keeps forming at the the opening.  I am hoping this last time does the trick.  I can begin trying soft solids on Friday.  I am keeping my fingers crossed.

I'm hoping this stretching will do it for you.  My doc also says strictures can take several stretchings.  Enjoy some real food now. :-)

I am on mushy food for 2 more days (what's another 2 days when it's been 5 mos right?) but then I will be trying solids again.  Wish me luck
