Christmas Party!

So, it turns out Saturday is gonna be a totally busy day for us.  We're up and dashing for the coast to hit Jayden's birthday party.  Then chuck presents at friends and then hit the road back.  Turns out we're going to the Keiwit Christmas party Saturday Night.

That posed a bit of a problem.  Not a *&$(*$# thing to wear.  Awwwwww, had to go shopping.  Darn, hate it when that happens.

Bought my first "little" black dress. OMG!  Size 14!   It fits just like the little elves were measuring me as they sewed along.  It's incredible!  JCPenney had this sale going on.  50% off.  So I got this beautiful $90 dress for $38!  (friends and family discount from my cousin). 

Now I need shoes, hose, slip.  Ahhhhhhhhhhhhh.  Only two more shopping days left!  How will I ever get it all done?

How cool is that?  You got to be so exited!  My sister in Law and her boyfriend worked for Keiwit for years and years.  Flo can't remember her last name as she married a few times and her boyfriend Jerry King.  Does your husband happen to know them.  Flo is cool, but I hear Jerry was/is a jerk.  My husband has always wanted to work for Keiwit but has not happened.  My husband is a heavy equip. operator.  He is on lay off now, but I hope for him to be back to work early part of next year.  I kind of enjoy him home for a while.  But if your husband hears of something out my way and need a great operator you will know who to call!  lol.  Always gotta keep an ear out.

So now not just pants but now a "little" black dress, you are going to be having a ball with all the shopping you are going to be doing.  Wish you were closer as I would have loved to join you on your shopping spree's.

We weren't going to go but all the guys talked Joe into it so.........we're going!  Little black dress and all!

Went to the doctor today and got a clean bill of health.  He told me I needed to be his poster child for WLS!  I can take a lickin' and keep on truckin'.  82# gone!

I paid my "bill" too.  During my bowel obstruction surgery the anesthesiologist was my doctor's brother.  I told them both whoever pulled the *$&$( tube out of my nose would get 2 dozen of my famous cookies.  I paid up today.  They're going to split them 

Damn I feel good today!  I love how this surgery has enabled me to put the spring back in my step and some "feeeeeelllllin' good" dance in my steps!  Yeeee Hawwww.

I'll keep your hubbie in mind.  WE have FOUR bridges up here being worked on.  Joe's bridge will take another 2.5 years and there's an interstate exchange Keiwit is bidding on.  Soooooooo  Ever thought about moving?
