Click - Expresso Protein drink Question

I am sorry to hear that Click did not sit well with you... Beth (melting mama) introduced me to it, and I tried it in San Ramon last weekend, and I love it cold, and in cake..  Shelly (Eggface) made a Click Chocolate Cake, and it was to die for..  Maybe you can try that way before giving Click the ol' boot..

To make the Click Cake, just use one scoop Click instead of the Chocolate Protein...

Chocolate Cake & Deep-Seated Childhood Issues

The buzz over the Internet is a sugar/white flour version of this so you know I just had to mess around and make a weight loss surgery friendly version.

Insomnia at 3 AM, 3 attempts and voila...

Shelly's 5 Minute Sugar Free Chocolate Cake

1 Egg, beaten
3 Tablespoons Milk (I used Vanilla Soy)
2 Tablespoons Sugar Free Torani Syrup (I used SF White Chocolate)
2 Tablespoons Canola Oil
3 Tablespoons Multigrain Pancake Mix (I use this)
2 Tablespoons Sugar Free Chocolate Pudding Mix, dry
1 Tablespoon Cocoa
1 scoop Chocolate Protein Powder
Pinch salt
1 Measuring Cup or Microwave Safe Mug

In a measuring cup or microwave safe mug, Mix egg, milk, syrup and oil and combine thoroughly. In a separate bowl, mix pancake mix, pudding mix, cocoa, protein powder and salt. Tip dry into wet and stir till combined.

Nuke in microwave for 2 minutes. Let it sit for three or so minutes (it pulls away from the sides) before tipping the cake onto a plate. Yields 4-5 slices.

Serve with Sugar Free Whipped Cream, Sugar Free Chocolate Syrup, Raspberries, Strawberries, Cherries, Sugar Free Caramel Syrup, Sliced Bananas, Melted Peanut Butter, a scoop of Protein Ice Cream or Sugar Free Warm Vanilla Custard.

It's yummy hot but I think it gets even better as it cools, more chocolaty. It totally reminded me of those Easy Bake Oven cake mixes.

Good Luck Hun, let me know if you try it, and if it worked out if  you did...

Hugs,
Jenn

You know Jenn, I do not think I am going to mess with it anymore.  Thanks for the recipe though.  I know me, and if I start making cakes with stuff, I will eventually venture into other areas that are not healthy.  So I do try to stay clear.  I admire people who can do it though.  Take care.   And get some rest with those kids of yours!!

CLICK does have a much stronger robust hit of espresso indeed. Almost too much flavor. I'm drinking CLICK now because it's so difficult to get ahold of AchievOne and their dreaded shipping costs! I add 12 oz. water and then top it off with unsweetened vanilla almond milk or light vanilla soy milk. Maybe you have lactose issues post surgery?

Take care,
Kim

Yup, Lactose is my guess also.  I sure miss my Achieve.  My store is getting a shipment at the end of the month.

I luv all flavors.  Especially the Hazelnut.  I will be in San Clemente on Christmas Eve.  Are you near there.  Forget that.  Looked up your city, you are North of me.  Shipping would be too costly.  But thanks for the thought.  Did you get the crystal light yet?
