DeAnna's surgiversary

YESTERDAY was Deanna's one year surgiversary!!!!!! She has done so well-----and been such an inspiration----------besides being the perfect angel!! I am double happy that she moved here--just in time to be my angel----she is the best.....kindest supportive angel!
Happy SURGIVERSARY  you sweet gal!!! I've only known you a short time....but you mean a LOT to me!! Thank you for everything!!!

LOL!  You are so sweet, Lori!  I haven't been on the boards much lately, I was just "stopping by" to post something for Jenn's support page, and noticed my name on your post!  I feel so special!  I did have this moment yesterday when I was trying on clothes, thinking, "Wow, one year ago today I was lying in a hospital bed, and now I've got a new job, am living in the town I've always dreamed of living in, and am trying on size 12 pants."  A lot can change in a year!

I didn't realize that you had surgery so close to my one year!  Congrats, you are the model of a great patient and winner at the losing game.  You have had a great year, here's wishing to another great one ahead.
