Hey everyone! I'm new to OH and I just wanted to introduce myself. My surgery is in one month (Jan 14th)! Anyone here been to Dr. Oliak?

Hey Jenn!

I haven't had surgery yet, but am probably going thru Pacific Bariatrics in San Diego. Good luck with your surgery! Where are you having it done?

Also, I am moving to Laguna Hills starting Friday, maybe we can start an impromptu lunch/coffee/support group for peeps in OC! Whatcha think?

Hi Paula,

I'm going to have my surgery at Chapman Medical Center with Dr. David Oliak. I'm so excited to finally have my surgery date. It will be my birthday persent to myself, my birthday is 4 days later!

Starting a group would be nice. But I live in north OC... La Habra! Maybe we can come up with something, I know I will need as much support as I can get.

I had Dr. Oliak do my surgery Oct. 2007!!! I am soooooo happy that I did. So far, I have lost 116 pounds, and over 80 total inches!!! I lived in La Habra for 28 years!!! Now, I am in Buena Park, not that big of a travel. Dr. Oliak and his staff are great!!!! I have had a terrific experience, and would do it all over again!! I never had any problems, and I am thankful for that. I think it was just the right time in my life to have it done. I am going to be around for my kids, and one day, my grandchildren!!!! My 18 year old daughter, who was against the surgery to begin with, says that if she gains a little more weight, and I loose a little more, we can share clothes!!! HAHAHA!!! Like I want to dress like an 18 year old!!!! But, the thought is a really great feeling!!!!
