I am also seriously considering this myself. I've been through hormone HE!! the last year + and I'm done. Its either ablation or hysterectomy! Still researching it myself. I hear some cramping for a couple of days but back to work very quick.

Good luck
Sue

Sue I had it done 4 and a half years ago and never looked back! No periods no anything. I had cramps a bit after....but it was the best thing I ever did for myself!

Went through that in July.  The procedure was quick, lasted only a couple of mins. but the last 30 seconds or so were extremely painful, even with the valium and pain meds. they pumped into me before hand.  I cramped really bad for about 1 week afterwards but have been told by several doctors that that is unusual.  Most woment go back to work in 1 or 2 days.  I was also having gallbladder trouble at the same time so that contributed to my longer recovery.  I do have cramping and some bloating still each month but no bleeding since the procedure.
Good luck

I had that done last year.  It was minimally uncomfortable afterwards. It was done on a Thursday and I was doing everything, except sex the next day. It has helped dramatically for me.

I had the surgery in 2005 and 1 year later found myself in emergency  with horrible pain and ended up with hysterectomy, ialso felt oain and cramping every month but no bleeding, well the procedure caused scar tissue and i was still having my periods every month but it was staying in my uterus, so therefore my uterus was stretching and it wasnt suppose to......i would not recommend it.....but thats only my opinion, good luck to you.
