Well Good Morning and Happy Friday to all of you!

It is a cold chilly morning here in the desert. Yesterday morning was downright spectacular here with the mountains covered in pristine snow! I could not believe it. It is more snow than I have seen here I believe since I lived in the desert. This is just from my front door as I was leaving for work around 6...I had to shoot it on a night setting because it was dark out:DSC_0679-1.jpg picture by JanineJ

When I got to school yesterday morning...there was this fog like blanket over the field and I immediately grabbed my camera:

Well today is my last day of wor****il the 5th of January. YAY and YAY for all the other teachers out there!

So what are your plans for the weekend? Lot of last minute stuff I am sure. Cannot believe that next Thursday is Christmas!

I have a very busy weekend, but will be doing a shout out soon!

Have a great day all and will try and pop in here later!

PEACE OUT!!!! Santa Sled

Good Morning Janine:

I had just replied to you on the Mystery box Post.  Wow these pics are beautiful....  It's storming like crazy here, snow it just 30 minutes up from us. I haven't been to sleep yet, everytime I try the strom bangs everything around. Better go and try again.  Take care, have a great last day of school and a Wonderful Holiday...

Good Morning Janine and Cali,

You just gotta love all that California has to offer when you can get pics like that.  I don't know if that is a person or statue in the fog pic but I look at it and just think Jesus is standing in your pic.  Absoulutely breath taking.   Well today is our last day too until the 12th.  They are allowing children to come to the staff luncheon and are bringing in a santa.  My mom is bringing Jordyn and I hope to take her pic with santa as I just don't want to go to the mall and do it.

This weekend we are going to LB coffee and then to run a few errands other than that I don't move the first couple of days of vacation and nobody can make me.

Everyone enjoy the TGIF

Wow Janine, those pictures are breathtaking!

Today is a little Christmas party at Sammi's school. I'm taking a long lunch from work to go for a little while. Tonight is a party at my friend Charla's, tomorrow night is the company party for DH work and Sunday is a kids party at the moose lodge. In between all the partying, I still need to find time to make a bit more candy. Everyone is getting candy plates for Christmas. Besided, if I give it all away, I won't eat it. LOL

Looking forward to a few days off over Christmas.

Hope everyone has a great TGIF!!
Sue

Good Morning Janine,   Those pictures are just gorgeous!  You have such a talent.  Today it is freezing here also.  I am planning to go to the Long Beach Coffee tomorrow but am a bit scared as if it snows I won't be able to get home.  But we will keep checking the weather on that.  WE are supposed to get more snow Sunday and then Monday-Wednesday so it is going to be a white Christmas here!  Today is just baking and getting ready for X-mas.  Nothing exiting.  Everyone have a wonderful day.

How BEAUTIFUL Janine (oh . . . good morning by the way!) . . . You can't beat Mother Nature with the shows she puts on!

One more day at this job, one more at Costco . . . and I'm gone to Vegas (with their 4 inches of snow???)  At least that should be gone . . . haven't driven in snow in 35-40 years . . . don't want to start on a trip!

Have a great day everyone!

Chris

OMG Janine those pictures are incredible.....and good morning one and all.

Happy Friday - although not so happy for me as I have a Dr appt this morning with my PCP (to discuss plastics and what he can write up for ins purposes - this is not a bad appt) then after that it is back to the dentist (this is the yucky part) to get the permanent crowns put on and maybe start the work on the 3rd and final one.  CAN YOU SAY YUCK - I just hate going to the dentist but I guess we have to do what we have to do right?

Tomorrow is LB Coffee and I am so excited as it sounds like we are gonna have some out of towners joining us - what fun.....then the rest of the weekend is all mine....the shopping is done and now Ijust have to wrap - ewww I just don't get into wrapping like I used to.

It is so cold here this morning I am dreading getting in the shower even with the heater on.....and going out in it - double ewwwwwwwww.

So everyone have a great Friday and to all you teachers out there - WOO HOO on vacation time.

Hugs to all - stay safe and warm

Good Morning Janine & Everyone,
What beautiful pictures!! Too bad the wind tends to blow the cold of the snow down into the desert more, brrrrrr.
Today is my day off work!! I work the weekend, have Xmas Eve off then work Xmas and the day after. I have next weekend off so I will have family time then. Today I dont have much of anything planned, just relaxing. Weekends suck at work, minimal staff, inspections so no deputies are available to observe med pass until way pass start time and running behind. Never have got off on time on a weekend shift. Oh well OT is good.
I still have to wrap everything and bake goodies to take in on Xmas day for those of us who have to work. Glad I get off at 230 so I can do things in the evenings!!
Hope everyone has a wonderful day!! Be good to yourselves and those around you!!!

  Nikki

Far away there in the sunshine are my highest aspirations.
I may not reach them, but I can look up and see their beauty,
believe in them, and try to follow where they lead.

Good Morning Janine and California!

What beautiful photos!  Thanks for sharing them with us!  It's been cold here too!  In the 30s at night and I thought I left all that on the east coast. lol  Enjoy your well deserved vacation. :-)

I’m solidly in Onderland!  I took measurements today.  I’ve lost 50.13 inches!
That’s hard to get my head around.  No WONDER I look so different.  I AM different!

It’s early and I’m running (today is Run 18 min, Walk 1 min,  run 11 min) then packing my rebounder and we’re hitting the road for Hughson, Modesto, and Luis Obispo, Pismo Beach and points south.  I’m meeting up with several people this trip and I’m looking forward to each and every one!

Each of you here have touched me in a way I couldn’t have imagined at the beginning of this year.  So much has changed, I have changed.  Thank you all for a wonderful journey, for allowing me to be a part of your journey.  It’s been a very good year.

Hugs,
