Dr. Suh patients

Need info on the RNY procedure performed by Dr. Suh.  I am 8 months out with zero complications.  A friend is about to have surgery with Dr. Suh and was asking what type of leak test was performed either during surgery or afterwards.  I actually didnt have an answer for her.  I am assuming he does some type of test during surgery  as I didnt do a barium test postop.  Any other of Dr. Suh's patients know the answer? 

Kim when I had my surgery with Dr. Suh nearly 6.5 years ago...he did a leak test during surgery. I woke with blue stains...go figure. I did not have to do a post surgery barium test or anything like that.

For the record...I just had a CT scan done of the abdomin to the pelvis and in the report it said that my RNY is perfectly intact with NO scarring or anything.

Kim you friend is safe with Suh....I would recommend him to anyone. I have had no complications!
