What a Day

Well, let me tell you about my day.  We got up at about 530.  Made coffee, and started to wake up the girls.  Phillip came in the door and the kids opened all the gifts.  We had a nice breakfast.  Everyone hit the showers and Phillip and Beth were off to her parents and we were heading for Agoura Hills. We were going to see Kirsten and make some adjustments on her bike.  Well.......................... things rapidly went bad very very  bad.  We were driving south on the 14 fwy enjoying the ride when I heard Lindsey scream ( I was reading and not paying much attention.  So I quickly look at her and she is screaming about the car.  I looked at Chuck and he was trying to manuever my car. Well, I look and there it was this red honda civic coming right at me. I was like omg we're going to be hit.  Then ...... BANG! We were hit by a hydroplaning car. We were hit on passenger side front end. Lindsey is still screaming and then we do into the center divider.  I was so scared I thought we were going oer the divider but we banged into it.  Lindsey is screaming her leg hurts really bad.  We are not sure how she hurt er leg .  So my car is thrashed.  It may be totaled.  We  are not sure. 
So ultimately be careful out there.

At least Christmas started out nice and THEN ended in a BANG!

Ahhh!!! Geez, Honey!!! You must have been scared enough to pee your pants!!! I am glad no one was more seriuosly hurt, it could have been soooo much worse. Advise...let the insurance company total out the car, they aren't meant to be hit like that and stay on the road. They are no longer safe. Hope the other car had insurance and you get some whells back very soon... OMG, I am so glad you and yours are okay.

I'm so sorry that happened!!!  What a blessing that no one was critically injured!  Hope you are able to work out the details regarding your car... ugh!!!

Damn Liz...sure it was not Santa's sleigh? Only kidding...I sure glad you are okay and your family...I would be screaming too....screw the car being totaled....it is you and your family is what is important. OMG is all I can say!!!
