Right after I bought my bike I was surfing the web and found this and a great pair of gloves for my oldest son. So I told Santa that it was just perfect and that is what I got

Listen ding dong....I have riden from here all the way up there...well Yosemite in one day. Jamestown is on the west side of Yosemite from here. I love kicking it on the 395 on my bike. I am actually hoping to make that trip when I get out of school this coming up summer. Jeff and I have not been on a long distant ride since we had that accident.
You know what was really cool? One of Jeff's presents yesterday was his european styled leather jacket that was cut off him that I had repaird. He was very emotional about it when he opened it up. He kind of knew I had it repaired but never said a word about it that I had gotten it. The kids said I should wrap it up for dad because he would dig it. I did and I am glad I did!
I told him the kids wanted me to do it...and he said that was one of the best gifts he ever had!
Hope your day was good...I am sure with all those beautiful babies of yours!

Jamestown is 137 miles East of San Fransisco and 70 - + from Yosemite. It is usually referred to as," GOD'S COUNTRY", but isn't all of California? My family has been in this state for over 150 years and no matter were I have lived this is one of the nicest place ever.
Hope you and your family have had a wonderful day.

Joy you are going to be able to fit in more than a week of clothes because you are getting so skinny. Trust me...I use to have to load my t-bag...have my saddle bags full...and still did not have enough room cuz my clothes were so darn big. Now I travel in easy with a bag and can bring more SHOES!!! LOL Serious and Jeff will confirm...my 1st big trip up to Eugene about 14 years ago now, I brought 5 pairs of shoes and an iron on my bike....what a tard eh?
We saw some tough guys riding yesterday...they could have it if you ask me...we got up to Pioneertown and then over to Joshua and serious as all get up....it was 33 degrees...bright and sunny, but the wind was blowing so hard the wind chill factor was in the 20's. I was hurting and even running I was so damn cold!
Oh speaking of which that trip to Eugene...we had to go to a wedding in Tahoe on our way...well we hit Grants Pass...and you got it...in June...a freak snow storm....Jeff and I were running up and down the side of the road trying to get warm....I had layers of clothes on and could not get warm!
So in some respects, I am a fair weather rider as I get older....nothing usually below 50 will I ride....it kills me to ride in the summer here...I have been on my bike when it is 114 degrees....no fun either!
We have to plan something for the summer gf!!!!
