Good Morning California and Happy Sunday

Good Morning Rhonda & Cali friends,

Yee haw Cal won the Emerald Bowl last night, we were cheering from the living room.  Today is more football day (if you ask my husband) so lot's of sitting around.  I think I might take my sister-in-law (visiting from Canada) and mother-in-law out to WalMart or somewhere just to get out and walk and out of the house.

I need to be on the hunt for my vities and calcium, as my angel Lola reminded me (hugs) she's the best.  So that may be a goal for today too.

Rhonda, your daughter's room sounds like it's going to be awesome when your done!  How cool!

My DH and I worked in the garage all day yesterday into the night.  My back is dying today!  I think some meds are in order...I will be ok though.  We will get it finished today. 

I need to get out and do some grocery shopping today, we have had ham and turkey since Christmas and I need something different!  lol

It sounds like most everyone had a great holiday and I am so glad.  So what's on tap for New Years????  

Any one doing any thing really cool???  I'm sure we will just stay home, maybe babysit the grandkids, that's my excitement!

Some day we want to get a hotel package, get dressed up  and go boogie, party and have fun like the good ol' days again!    Not gonna happen this year though, but that's ok too.

Good afternoon to everyone.  I'm new here, but excited to share.  I got the Wii Fit 3 days ago and I am absolutely loving it.  My body aches because I've been using muscles I haven't used in a long time, but it's so much fun!  I love that exercise can be fun.  Also, I've lost 8 pounds since December 12 when I had my consultation with the surgeon.  I've lost 7 more pounds than I needed to in order to have surgery.  After my psych eval on Jan 2 I will find out my date.  I can't wait.

For the rest of the day I'm going to this really cool place called The Roux that is a Louisiana restaurant.  After that I'll come home and play more Wii Fit.  Oh, and I have pink eye so I have to keep taking my antibiotic...ugh!
