Good Morning!
I am looking forward to 2009.  It's going to be a monumental year for me.  I will get to have my RNY and join the loser's bench.  I can't wait!!!  I've never looked forward to a year like I am looking forward to this one.  And, after weighing myself on the scale today I've found that I have lost 40 lbs since 9/07.  That's a huge accomplishment for me.  I can't wait to lose even more after my surgery!

Hope you all have a wonderful day.  I'm going to go to Six Flags Discovery Kingdom and hopefully my butt will fit in more rides this time!

Good Morning Cali,

I hope each and every one of you had a joyous and safe Christmas.  Like many of you, my year had it's own ups and downs.  Two of the "ups" were completing my first half marathon in October after many months of training and dropping down to single digit sizes.  In 2009, I am hoping to complete my first (and probably only) marathon and to have plastic surgery.

Take care,

Kim

Good morning Janine and Cali!! Quiet weekend. Saturday was grocery shopping and getting my nails and pedicure done. I had the crystal taken off my nails as I want to see if I can grow them out naturally with all the biotin that I take. Then I went to my cousin's for a while. Got to watch Mamma Mia. It was an awesome movie! Sunday was church. Came home and watched Wall.E. I wasn't impressed with it. It was kinda boring. After that just kinda puttered around the house and played on the computer.

I will be spending New Year's Eve at my church. We have a NYE service every year. This year we are having an Ethnic potluck. Yummm!! As for New year's resolutions, I know which one WON'T be on my list...lol I guess my resolutions would be: 1. To continue strengthening my walk with God and listen more to what He is telling me. 2. Be a better person, better friend. 3. Listen more with an open heart. 4. Get to know more people at church.

I guess that'll do it for me today. I hope everyone has a great day. Don't forget your Vitamins!! =)

Good morning Janine, my angel Lola and Cali friends,

Happy Monday!  I am so happy to be on vacation still until next Monday.  Woo hoo!  Today, I am going to de-Christmas the house.  I love the decorations but I am now happy to have a normal house again too.

I am going for my pre-op this coming Friday and will begin my liquid diet the same day.  Surgery on the 8th.

I don't usually go for New Year's resolutions but certainly goals are in order.  For me my wls surgery and using the tool to conquer my weight issues.  I am looking forward to wow moments to share.

Lots of happiness to my online friends, enjoy the day

Hey All!
It's been awhile since I posted in the CA forum.  I have had a crazy couple of weeks.  Anyway, I look forward to 2009 for many reasons:
1.  To continue to watch my body make amazing changes.
2.  To celebrating my 11 wedding anniversary on Valentine's Day
3.  To watching my daughter turn 7 and my sons turn 3 and 5.  My 5 year old will start Kindergarten and that will be a massive adjustment.
My New Year's Resolution is just 1

To get to a "healthy" BMI

Happy New Year's to you all!
