Sickly   So I woke up this morning not being able to breath and having this wheezing in my chest... I mean Yesterday I was fine, and it just hit me all of a sudden..  Now my nose is stuffed up and running at the same time..  I have a low grade fever, I feel like crap, and I am getting worse..  GRRRR!

I Don't KnowWhat happens if I am sick now, will they still do the surgery, or does it depend on how I am the day of surgery???    I hope this does not set me back,  but I am worried..

Question MarkAny suggestions to help get rid of this, or answers to any of my questions would be so very much appreciated..

Thumbs UpHope you guys are having a great day..

Blinking Heart 2Hugs to you All,

Jenn

Okay, it happens more than you think.  As long as your lungs are clear, you should not be cancelled.  Get some airborne and emergen-C also.  Some people use Ziacam.  You can also take all of these later after surgery.  Stay calm, you should be fine.

Emergen-C and Zicam!!!!

Like Leann said, it depends on how you are the day of surgery, if your lungs are clear you SHOULD be good to go, but it depends on your Dr. Make sure you are getting lots of protein in to help your immune system, take your vitamins, and I LOVE Zicam, it works REALLY well for me. I get the kinda that you swab on the inside of your nose...kinda gross but if it works it works!

On a side note...HI! I can't wait to see you next week at the hospital!!!!

I hope you and hubby and the kids had a great Christmas. This past week has been HECTIC but we got moved over the weekend, so it should calm down now! Just have to get the house in order and we are good to go!

Yes, I am sure I don't like to stick things up my nose, but I am willing to try ANYTHING..  Thanks for the suggestions..

And HEY!!  I can't wait to see you again either...

I am so glad you are all moved..  What a rotten time of year to have to do  it, but how nice IS it to have YOUR OWN place...   I am so happy it all worked out for you guys..

BIG BIG HUGS,

Jenn

Katt,

You are such a sweetheart... Thank You so very much for the card... That was so nice..  I will definitely listen, and take a deep breath (not in through my nose and out the mouth since LOL since I can't breathe, I will have to settle for a deep breath in and out of my mouth.. *wink*)

Thanks for the prayers, they are much appreciated..

Hugs,
Jenn

Jenn,

You have one week and one day until your surgery, so go get some Zenergize Immunity (I find it at whole foods) or Emergen-C (the Zenergize is the most potent thing out there) and start drinking it every day.  I also hear that zicam is pretty powerful.  If you don't feel better by Monday, call your surgeon.  My surgeon said it was easier for them to switch my surgery with someone else's than to have me show up sick and then have to straight reschedule.  I'm sure you'll be feeling better by the weekend.  Get some rest and drink LOTS of water!

Hope you're feeling better real soon!!!!!

I will get in as much water as I possible can to help flush this nasty bug away, but in case it wants to hang around, I will definately let my Dr. know what is going on..   I will take my computer to bed and kick my feet up and rest as soon as the Hubby gets home..  (kids are able to stay up a little late as it is their vacation too.. *wink*)

Thanks so much..

Jenn

I saa-ware by those q-tip-up-your-nose Zicam things.  Got a cold when travelling last year and it cleared it up in TWO DAYS.  My doctor loves them too! Send someone to the store quick - the faster you use it, the faster your cold will be gone.
