Getting Sick (Oh NO!!)

Awwww thanks for the hugs....  What a bummer that I get sick right before my hubby goes back to work tomorrow.. LOL  Guess that's how it goes, but he will have New Years Eve off, so I will kick the feet up and rest...  Thanks for the prayers..

My surgery is scheduled 2 days after yours and I have the same symptoms.   It started out with a sore throat, moved into my head.  I am coughing now and sniffling too, low grade fever at night.  I also am an asthmatic, and these sort of things ALWAYS move right into my lungs and this time is no exception, I can tell.  I will see my surgeon for a pre-op on Friday, so I will see what they want to do.

I am sitting here with sugar free halls and tylenol, lots of water and juice.  Gargle with sal****er I hear is good too.

I will be praying for us both but I know that they know best and I will leave the decision up to them.  I can stay on my liquid diet a little longer and loose a little more.

I don't think I will come down on Sunday, as I don't want to expose you or anyone to what I have and it's probably best to just take it easy.

Oh I am sorry to hear that you are not feeling well either..  I will pray for you as well, and hope that we are both better before our surgery... 

It is never easy being sick, and especially at a time like this.. But I am glad that I am sick NOW than to get sick like the day before surgery..

Please take  in all the suggestions that were passed to me.. My Hubby is going to the store for me to pick  up all my supplies..   You might want to get them too...

Let me know how you are feeling..  And oh by the way the 8th is my oldests birthday..  He will be 10 (double didgets) He is so excited..  You both will share a Birthday...  YEA!
