Just a morning hello before I go to bed!!!
Good Tuesday morning all! I am MIA most of the time now that I'm a working girl so I thought I would say hi!
I hope everyone had a GREAT Christmas! We did, but my car decided to kind of take a dump (transmission I think) so we had to add a car for Becky to our Christmas list. Another car payment was not exactly in our plan, but since I work so far away, a necessary evil!! lol
So, today I went from my "ghetto" car (15 years old, driver side window not useable, back window taped up, rubber hanging out of back door, gas lid had to be pried open with a knife, etc, etc!!!) to an "OMG can you say bells and whistles"!!!! lmao I have never had such a "posh" car in all my life! I LOVE IT!!!! It is a 2005 Hyundai XG350, fully loaded! I didn't realize how unsafe I felt driving the other car until today in the new one. I am totally in love with Hyundai's now. I test drove a Sonata yesterday and knew I wanted one!! This one is a step up from the Sonata.
I am off for NY eve and am making Mike take me out for the first time ever in our 26 years together (he gets up at midnight to go to work so we never get to do anything). I told him I would go with him to do papers if he took me out, so we are going Midnight bowling. They are having a casino night bash and it should be really fun.
As for resolutions, I'm very thankful NOT to have to have the word "diet" in there anymore!!! Every year I say I am going to stop cursing (for those of you that don't know it, I have a truckers mouth and the "f" word is my fave word of choice), but my daughter says not to bother because I never do it!!! lol Really though, I want to try. So my resolutions are...
~have a closer relationship with God now that my hubby and I share that
~continually improving our marriage
~working on our finances and sticking to a budget so we can improve our credit situation
~figuring out time management so I can have more balance
~trying to at least cut down on my swearing!!!
I hope you all have a GREAT New Years what ever you do and my wish for us all is "A DIVINE 2009!!!"

I know you will do good with your resolutions and wish you the best with them. Especially you and your hubby!! I am jealous about you having New Years off, but hey gotta earn the money!!

I know exactly how happy you feel right now! When I was a single Mom and trying to make it i drove my car until it litterally fell a part! lol It's so nice to have a vehicle to drive that you feel safe in and you know you will make it to where you are going!

As for the trucker's mouth . . .in all the times we've met, I've never heard it. . . so you can do this! LOL . . . I'm only good at it because of the babies around . . . not that I'm suggesting a new little one for you (OMG shut my mouth!)

It is amazing that my girls never picked up on my words! I guess I got lucky!
