WOW Moment

Ok, it's the holidays, I have allowed a little self indulgence but at the same time know I have surgery coming up.
 
I tip toed to my scale, shaking nervously, hands covering my eyes as I stepped on.

Heavy sigh.....

OMG I am 2 lbs below where my surgeon wanted me to be!

Man, I need to trust in myself more often.  I did reel it in and allowed things in moderation.

YEE HAW.

Shouting from the roof top now.

I am so proud of you.  Good job!  Just get ready because you and that scale are going to develop an new relationship.  I hated scales and never even owned one until I had my surgery. 
I am so HAPPY you did it.

I am officially on the antibiotics now and they said to keep the pre-op appt friday but the anesthesiologist would have the final say.  So, we'll be good until then and keep fingers crossed.

Enjoy the day.  I am off to Costco with my mother in law and sister in law.

That is a huge WOW!!!  Learning moderation is a success all it's own and you deserve a big WOO HOO!!!!  You are so ready for the loser's bench.  I can't wait for my turn!

Thanks SO much.  I am really excited now and just keeping my fingers that this bronchitis will get better in a week and 2 days.  We'll be goin' down this road together, so I guess we better hold on tight for a wild ride eh?
