What to do on NYE

Well, I refuse to sit around the apartment for NYs and be as depressed as I was over Xmas.  Course, lot of stuff had gone wrong, and death always depresses me.  Luckily the worst thing that has happened this last week is I got bit. Got 2 nice bruises from it. Luckily he didn't break my skin.
Anyway, I had to decide what to do.  Came down to going to someplace like Medieval Times, out to see Wicked (The play) or Disneyland.  Well, I decided that first thing tomorrow morning I am heading to Orange county and Disney for an all day adventure.  I figure I can walk alot, which is good excercise  and have fun too.  Only thing I am worried about is what kind of food they have there.  Can anyone here steer me to the right restaraunt?

Thanks

BTW, I am gonna have to schedule to see Wicked soon, since its only got a few weeks left here before it moves on.  I could of gone to Medieval times, but did that in Dallas and figure its pretty much just eating with some entertainment.

I don't remember Disneyland having too good of food for us but maybe you could bring some little snacks in a bag or something. They might have chicken there, i think they have a McDonalds there, just get some mcnuggets. Also don't forget your water, you will want it with all the walking around. Have fun!!

I always carry a couple protein bars and a bottle of water just in case.

My new fav protein bars are Power Crunch Triple Chocolate and Myoplex carb control bar, chocolate chip brownie.

Have fun!

I grew up in Anaheim.

Tailgate it. Keep your food/meals in a cooler in the car. It is cheaper and healthier that way. Buy then keep water bottles with you in the park.

I shoulda posted the original topic earlier.  I was already in the park by the time I got replies  I didn't do to bad food wise though.  Got a fruit cup for a snack in the morning, and there were plenty of places that had child menus.  The mexican place had a chicken taco that was good, I didn't touch the shell or the rice.  There was a place that sold skewers as well, just get the chicken skewer and tell them to hold the sauce.  The one thing I really wanted to get, but chickened out on, was the gumbo.  The line was way to long.

Overall I had a blast.  Met a lot of people I will probably never see again.  Managed to get on most of the rides.  Even went on their Indy Jones one twice (it was my favorite).  Worst part of the night was actually Midnight since I couldn't get close enough to see the "ball" drop.  Music was good though.  It was just to crowded by then.  Right after the park pretty much cleared. I hung around for another hour, listening to music, then left.  Very glad I went, but man are my legs and feet sore today.

Re: DL's gumbo...

I know a guy whose wife is a VP of blah-dee-blah for disney and the family has lifetime parking/passes to the resorts.

I ran into him in NO square in DL last time I was there...."What the heck are you doing here??"

"I came for a bowl of gumbo."

Really. He was literally in the neighborhood, parked in employee parking and walked through the park for a bowl of gumbo.

Must be good. I make a pretty good gumbo, but I won't walk accross an amusement park for a bowl.
