Its the LAST Whacky Weigh In Wednesday of 2008
Okay gang this is the last Whacky Wednesday Weigh In for 2008 and what a year it has been! We have seen so many pounds fly out the window that it is going to really blow our socks off when Steve posts tomorrow the grand total.
I said we have lost a ton of weight this year....that ton = 2,000 pounds. I am hope and feeling that we probably exceeded it....come Steve...we are sitting on the edge our seats on this one!
So you all know the drill...post the numbers you lost this week or if you gained that is okay too....we are all here to support you...isn't it what is all about? Most of all how do you feel about yourself...you lookin fine in those clothes? Or are you lookin fine in your mind...that is really important....you know that self confidence that sprouts up as you lose your weight.
It's all good gang....losing...gaining...we all learn from each other!
Today finds me status quo...that is a good thing. I seem to stay right stable and that makes me happy although I could go for a jump start and see if I can lose a bit more even though Jeff does not want me to. I just like having a saftey net, but when I think of for what? My net is my hand to mouth and making choices right?
So let's end this year right and on a positive note....you all made this happen and you all should congratulate yourself on a job well done!!!
YAY!!!!!!
Happy New Years Eve to all of you....and will you all be glad to stop getting those dumb email sales things for the holidays or what? Worse than a bad commercial!!! LOL

I am sure we had a wonderful weight loss year and I am so proud of everyone!!!
Have a wonderful New Years Eve everyone!!! Be good to yourselves and those around you!!!

Far away there in the sunshine are my highest aspirations.
I may not reach them, but I can look up and see their beauty,
believe in them, and try to follow where they lead.

I had my plastics on July 4th. Finally seems now the swelling has gone for good. Along with the swelling the weight will go down and your body will shift a lot! Whatever you purchase make sure there's stretch in it as you will surely shrink. It'll happen, it just takes time. And I know just how hard it is to rest and stay off one's feet.
My best to you!

Its going to be a wonderful day today, that is for sure. I feel it in my bones. Yesterday would have been a great day to take the dogs for a walk. The sun was warm and it felt nice.
Let me explain something before I post my WWW.
With all that has been going on with DD, I gained a few extra pounds,(6 of them) not eating right, and always on the run and yet no time to "shake my thing" But since DD has been home, I have lost 12 pounds. So I guess my answer is I am down 6 pounds? My pants where falling off the other day when I was out with Rhonda and Jaine, walking around, and my sister from Idaho told me I need new pants. But these ones are only about 2 months. I am going to where them today.

That is the long and short of it for me. I wish everyone a great last day of 2008, Like Steve, I sure hope that 2009 brings me brighter days.
Love to all.
Be safe and smile alots. It covers the pain of having to work.

Janine - Thanks for the great shout out yesterday! By the time I finished reading it, I had to run out the door. You have blessed us so much this last year and we Love you! Oh, and those grandbabies of yours are just tooooo cute!
For WWW I am the same. This is definately good as it seems NO ONE wants me to lose any more.
Hope everyone enjoys the day and please stay safe.

I have to say I'm the same .. . because I gained in Vegas - but lost it this week (yea) . . .
My resolution for next year is to actually write down what I weigh on Wednesday because this ole memory honestly can't remember what I did a week ago . . . so I will be more accountable to myself.
Just a partial day today - we are out at 3 . . .and that's about it for here - nothing special . . . just try to relax!
Have a great time everyone - and be safe!

Good morning all! And it is a great morning! This week brings me a 4.5 pound loss and I also just squeeked into ONDERLAND!!!! YaaaaaHooooooo! I had wanted to hit Onderland before the new year started and I did. Hey only by 1/2 a pound, but I"m there. I am now on territory I have not been in over 25 years since I was pregnant with my oldest son.
Today brings me wor****il 3:30. Then home to make stuffing and we're headed to our "Tree Burning" ceremony. Ha! It's just a good ole Redneck Get Together with lots of friends, family and food.
Another goal I met last night was to have my house clean. After 3 major surgeries in 4 months I really hadn't felt like cleaning it the way I liked for quite some time. I am proud to say my house is actually livable. Did the livingroom, kitchen/dining room and hallway on Monday and last night was 2 bathrooms and my bedroom. Jayden did an awsome job on his room and I vacuumed it. Ahhhhh, I can relax a bit for the next 4 days.
Jayden and I watched Horton Hears a Hoooo. Cute movie.

I ain't neeever been the Barbie doll tyyyype.... :-)
Gretchen Wilson is touring in the Fresno area in May this year, maybe we should get a group together to see her?
