Any last minute......
I am happy to say that I have hired someone to watch my kids so that my DH could go and be with me at the Hospital for my pre-op getting ready.. My Church tried to find someone to help, but with no luck, so I really thought I would have to go in alone.. (Scary) But we hired one of my DH's co-worker's daughter... LOL She is expensive, but I would pay anything to have my DH with me when I go back.. So he will come with me to the Hospital, then leave during the procedure to relieve her, then come back when I finally am able to go back to my room.. (having the liver biopsy means I have to stay in recovery a little longer than normal) So it has all been worked out.. *Phew*
Anything that you could possibly think I should know, or just want to say would be so VERY HELPFUL. After all you have done this before...
I have 5 more days before we head to the HOSPITAL... OMGoodness.. Just trying to get everything set up before hand, and I don't want to leave something out..
Thank You for your time Cali.... Lots of Love & Hugs sent your way...
Happy New Years Everyone..
~Jenn~

Yippie Jenn ... only a few more days! The only thing I didn't have with me was chap stick . . . and as soon as I was in my room I sent my daughter out immediately in search of it! I didn't have anything extra with me . . . didn't expect to spend the night ... but outpatient means 23 hours . .. so I was there . . .and did just fine with the things the hospital had for me . . . relax - rest . . . and remember to walk walk walk and sip sip sip afterwards! We're waitiing for you to join us!
Chris
I am so excited for you. First, take a deep breath and enjoy the next five days. As Janine, said this is the beginning of an amazing journey. My advice bring very little; slippers, toothbrush, toothpaste, chap stick and something to loose to go home in. Oh and to have some coffee a few days prior to surgery with a new friend visiting from So. Cal. LOL!
Lola
I just bought me a pair of fuzzy black comfy slippers.. I will remember to pack a pair of loose jamies, definately a toothbrush and toothpaste, I hear your breath becomes pretty bad after you start losing.. (EWWW) I think I am looking forward to having the coffee with a new friend the most.. *wink*
Thanks for the tips.. See ya soon..
Hugs,
Jenn
Then second WALK ALL YOU CAN after surgery!!! They'll get you up and you won't want to, but it did help with the "air" and you need to get rid of that!
I'm praying for a successful surgery for you and a speedy recovery! After you come home, remember to walk and sip! One of the girls here ALWAYS says it and she's RIGHT!
Good Luck!
