Crashed and Burned today......

I think I am just trying to darn hard....

I am finally able to do a little time on my treadmill so I can lose these 10 pounds so the doctor will schedule my surgery....Well today, I am on my tradmill (this is a good thing as I blew my knee out 2 months ago) and I was trying to change the incline and I hit the speed button.

I didnt have the kill switch card attached well enough to as I lost my balance and went flying off the treadmill....LOL. Cut my arm, scratched my knees, bruised my hand and the knee I blew out a few months back is so swollen I have to put ice packs on it.................And it HURTS LOL\

Sorry just wanted to vent.........Beware of those killer treadmills

Poor baby! Aint that how it is...one finally decides to get healthy, and the treadmill pulls you out from under yourself. I am sorry you are in pain. Praying for a speedy recovery.

That is one reason I don't do treadmills or elliptical. I have a pair of shoes and miles of street to walk/run.

So sorry you are hurting.  Hang in there, the 10 lbs will come and your surgery will be scheduled.  Keep thinkin' good thoughts and I will do the same.

Dang, run away treadmill!  That's why I started with a rebounder.  It's easy on the knees and ankles but you can really work up a sweat.  No kill switch to deal with either. lol

Wow that is awful, but wanted to commend you for working real hard at getting some weight off so you can get your surgery scheduled. I am a former Suh patient and you are in good hands!!!

I have been there done that.....A few years ago I bought myself a treadmill, when I decided for the 10th time I was overweight. I got up that morning, did all my stretches, drank a mug of raw egg & honey, and stepped up on that machine.........I through the switch and the machine through me...... On to the floor and and against the wall. I took 17 stitches in my head, found out latter someone in the house had been playing with my new toy, and left it on high.

I sold it a week latter and bought an exercise bike, to this day I don't go near treadmills, I even did my last stress test on on a stationary bike.

Take up walking, rebounders, bikes, swimming, anything but don't go near the treadmill..they are evil creatures.

Keep Up The Good Work, You Will Loose The 10.
