Good Morning Everyone!  Happy 2nd day of January.  Yesterday Joe, Jayden and I spent the day out in the fresh air.  We went out to the Ranch and went 4x4ing with friends and then gathered 2 truck loads of firewood.  We ran into another bunch of friends out doing the same thing.  We took a couple of walk hunts and I was amazed at how much easier it is.

Spending the day with a good group of friends is so good.  I enjoy it.  However towards the end of the day Jayden was stomping on my last nerve with golf spikes.  Wow.  I held it together but if he "accidentally" pulled my hair one more time................

Today brings .......... I sure don't know what.  Stacking and splitting firewood for sure.  I might just have to sweep up some dog hair.  Taking it easy.   Joe has to go to work today so Jayden and I might just go see Marley and Me.  Bed early too.  It's raining here so not much outside to do.

I sure hope everyone has a wonderful day.

Good Morning Janine & Cali Friends,

Well yesterday was so relaxing. I stayed at home and took a nap at 2:00 in the afternoon "Wow a nap, in the middle of a work week". Today I am back at work, I work for a credit union so ofcourse we have to be open today. Since so many people might want access to their money..lol Starting the New Year off was a little rough for me. I am up 5lbs over the holidays, "dman all that bread stuff", I know I need to tackle my eating habits and get back on track. I have 38lbs to go until I get to my goal weight and 14 days until my 1 year surgiversary. I will lose this damn 5lbs before then. It just makes me so mad that I worked so hard and then a couple holidays come & its a free for all with the eating. I know I should just stay positive and think of the 140lbs I have lost so far. Today is a new year and a new day, so I am going to think positive and go back to the basics: Protein, protein, water, vitamins & excersice. I am so glad you had a great new years day. I know how important family is.

Happy New Years!!

Janine that looks fabulous! I made ravioli for the family, but mine was from Costco LOL!

I am enjoying my time off. My cousin has moved in with us due to economic strain. It is interesting to have someone living with us again. I can't wait to have my house organized again.

School starts on Monday. I am afraid that I will forget and not show up.

Happy Friday Janine and Cali,
I am enjoying my time off from work and I am so excited about my upcoming trip.  I am having coffee with the Monterey ladies, and I am just jazzed about it.
Yesterday, my mom and I did a six mile run and I picked a friend up from the airport.  Today is cleaning and packing.  I will most likely get my toes done today and just relax.
Janine, your story about your boys really made me think.  My brother and I are not speaking and it's been almost a year.  I can only imagine how it makes my mom feel.  But, it is what it is.  I will have to ponder on this one.  LOL!  Thank you for making me even consider speaking to him, that is a start.
Hope everyone has a great day.

Good Morning! well....afternoon....lol

Not much to report for me! Chris and I spent yesterday doing a little organizing around the house (not enough, we are still drowning in boxes!) and did a TON of shopping. We went to Ikea, The Container Store and WalMart to get a TON of stuff we needed for the new apt. It took us two trips from the car to get it all inside! It was fun though, and nice just to spend a day hanging out with her!

No big plans for this weekend...going to try to stay in and get lots of work done around the house, might catch a movie? Definitely going to the farmers market tomorrow and see what fresh fruits and veggies we can fnd.

I hope everyone has a GREAT weekend!

Good Afternoon Janine and California!

I'm so glad your boys came over!  I know what a trial it can be when siblings are having a hard time with each other.

As for the ravioli, I used to get sage ravioli at Pasta Pomodoro.  YUM  I'll bet yours is better.  Send me a recipe when you have time.  It's a LONG ways to get them now. lol

We did go visit friends earlier in the day but we brought in the new year quietly watching the ball fall in Times Square at 9pm and went to bed!  Real party animals we are. lol  We're still recoering from our trip.  We're headed out again Tuesday to pick up the new recumbent bike, yaaaaaay!

I'm doing well this year, continuing to exercise and lose.  It's going to be a very good year!

Hugs,
