Lying on Drivers License

I woke up at 4 AM dreaming about my drivers license. Thing WTF? Its 4 AM who cares. Then I realized it expired on my birthday, December 15th. I didnt renew it. Just spend a week driving around Nevada!!!!  Went to CA DMV this morning to renew it. Its the first time I didnt lie about my weight!!!  Even when I was 240 and it was time to renew I left it at 160 thinking someday I would get back there.  Today, it honestly reads 142 and a new picture.  Now I need to get the picture redone on my ATM card as I get tired of people saying can we see your drivers license as this doesnt look like you. Then I tell them that pic looks this the other!  Now they will be correct. No more lying on the weight or 242 pics on the ATM and DL!  Whoo Hoo!

Preop 242  Height 5'4"  Current: 145 Want to get back to 135. ZERO Complications! ZERO Vomiting  (Chew, chew, chew)! ZERO Regrets!

My sister had WLS and when she went to renew her DL they questioned if it was really her .LOL She carries her old one with her new one to show people the big  (huge) difference.

I was looking at my driver's license which says I'm 175 and thinking "the last time I was 175, I looked so much heavier; I wonder why that is." Then, I had my DUH moment. I wasn't really 175 when that picture was taken. I was LYING!

Right now my picture is about 50 lb. heavier, my hair is longer, brown and curly and I'm wearing contacts. I don't think it looks A THING like me. But no one questions it.

I'm going to wait a bit to get mine redone though. I want to be at goal.

I used to lie on my weight too, thinking that I could pass for 225 when I was 300+.  Now I I have my real weight...hopefully I'll need to change it again when it's time to renew. :)

I once got carded and had to present my old license with a pre-WLS picture of myself and the waitress said "Why are you showing me your big sister's license??"

Now if you are going to win any battle you have to do one thing. You have to make the mind run the body. Never let the body tell the mind what to do. The body will always give up. It is always tired in the morning, noon, and night. But the body is never tired if the mind is not tired."

Yaaaaaaaay!  Congratulations!

I tried to cash a check last week and the bank teller said "That's not you." LOL  I said "Oh yes it is, 100+ pounds ago!"  His cousin had WLS so he looked closer and cashed the check.  Sure felt good.

Hey Girlfriend!  That is awesome news!  I now weigh less than my DL says and that was a big fat lie then!  rofl.  I can't begin to tell you how proud I am of you and how HOT you look!  I am sure your husband wants to put GPS on you, because you are such a head turner now.  Lets do coffee next week.  PM back and let me know what day!  I can't wait to see you my friend.

My current DL was taken at 294 pounds ... goodness, my face is HUGE!  But the weight on it says 190 ... I would never admit to anyone that I was almost 300 ... Funny thing is,  don't care about admitting to my weight any more because I've done something about it.  I'm up for a new DL in May, so I can't wait to go get a new one, with a skinny picture

You know when I got my license many many years ago, I lied and said I weighed 180. In fact I think I probably weighed about 230 then. I kept that weight on my license all these years and now can say I honestly weight less than my license!

You go girl!!! Thumbs Up

I LOVE LOVE LOVE your story!

I need to renew my dl come summertime and am SO looking forward to it! Heck, I weigh less than I did in the third grade! I may turn a year older on my birthday this year but it will feel great to see the "other" new little number on the dl! Life is good!
